in the midst of due dates...

we had this.
Happy Beearlied Birthday, Mr. Sexy!

it's great to hang out with friends whom u nv thought u would hang out with :)

also, to destress at some point of time.

to enjoy the beatz of rhythm.

to laugh our hearts off.

Thank you, friends! :)

You guys brightened up my day!

sailing

I believe, friends don't come by easily.
They are the one who make me learn.
At the same time, they are the one who make me awake.

Someone created a "to-keep" list as we chatted just now.
This "to-keep" list is always precious and hard to attain.
But i am contented enough with a few friends in it, at least.
Quality matters, not quantity.
Shan Na, give urself a big slap! *piak* and be yourself.

Yes, i am awake! I should have at the very beginning...

Sunday, June 28

...

I hate Sunday.
Seriously.
It made me think of Monday- Tuesday- more days...

It wasn't a productive day.
It's a brain hibernating day.

And for the first time,
i wandered in my room, from left to right, right to left.
to...
digest the things that i've read for the assignment.
Philo, lei hou yehh! *in cantonese for once*

argh.
WHAT IS MIND?!

i guess i am out of my mind.
off to bed, world. :)

Saturday, June 27

great saturday

Had a workshop session with high school students today.
"Time Management"- something which i m sucks at.
Talked about procrastination- something i am so proud of about myself.
=_______________="

Kids are naughty.
"What is time?"
"It's masa!"
"Okaaaayyy... so, what is masa?"
"It's 时间!"
sweat us. -.-"

Today i had a chance to conduct the experiential learning, thanks to Ms. May.
It was quite satisfactory but the PA system wasn't that canggih.
Caused me sorethroat after talking too much.
Kids were naughty, but obedient at the same time.

The more u enforce, the worse they become.
That's the nature of teenhood.
Teachers nowadays force students to do things.
Having a workshop and being forced to take note, was really pathetic.
A girl was asking, "Teacher, can u help me see whether my teacher got copy my name? coz i went to toilet just now." Gosh. Secondary school student...

Anyway.
I had fun and gained some experience today.
Hope i have more chances to collect all these experiences.
I wanna improve my public speaking skills too.
some pictures to show...
-.-"
-.-"
-.-"
don't you think this school is funnny? =_=
we laughed when we reached... and laughed when we went off...

Friday, June 26

the evening me.

As i was walking back home after knocking off...
I saw a stretch of orange yellowish clouds...
was it sunset? or...
was it polluted sky?

I saw lines and lines of vehicles...
cruising up and down of the highway...
I heard the sound of horns...
pitching up the frequency in my ears...

For that second, i pondered.
What will it be, if the world freezes at this moment?
Just freeze... and nothing more than that.
Life stops running.
but eyes are viewing :)
Everything stops, but i walk and have a stroll.

At times, we have to stop.
To think of things happened around us.
To care about people whom we care lot.
It's not just about ourselves, but others, too.

We are the one who dominate the walking.
We, too, are the one who choose to stop for a while, and spread love.
and i hope the helping ministry, will be the field of my chemistry.

For who am i today, i extend my deepest gratitude.

midnight brain

yea... so, it's midnight now.
Just finished with tonnes of numbers. =.=" continued with SPSS.
Cool. and now my eyes are "numbered" although i only have 2 eyes.
kill me please.

crappy.

At times, things ain't gonna work in your way.
You know, as in... your ONE and ONLY way?
Hmmm...
Where's the commitment?
Where's the strength?
Where's the motivation?
Where's the initial oomph?
Shanna has no idea.

I am waiting.
For the time to strive for a betterment :)
Things are meant to be revamped somehow.

Wednesday, June 24

raaaanndom...

right...
here i am... :)
for nothing. =x

guess what?
after Prom, i've been browsing many photos back in Uni life.
All the events that we've gone through. All the friends, fights, laughers, sweat, tears, mind cracking moments...
Life has been eventful throughtout the years...
and i am so gonna miss tonnes of wonderful memories.
What's more, i love to take photos and being taken at the same time. :)
Haven't really checked out how many gB of photos i've been stored all these while.

A friend of mine probed me this long long ago
"Why are you taking so many pictures? You have no confidence with your memories issit?"
Vividly remember his statement because i find it amusing. :)
Well, i love to view and take a stroll by looking at those pictures.
That particular second captures one's action, sweet smile, smirk, bubbly faces or even stupid cacat faces of all of us.

and you know what?
i am gonna thank all of YOU and YOU whom i walked with for so long.
Without you, there's no Nana here, seriously. =)
i really appreciate everyone's presense, be it good or bad.
all of YOU had brighten my life! :)
*smile*kah-zak!* photo taken! *stored in my heart*

Ciaoz!

red carpet of the night
It was indeed a night to remember. The excitement finally tuned into a high note once Saturday stroke its' 12am. Haha! =) Hectic Saturday with preparation for the function, later on, make up and all- all the girl-girl thingy! Haha! XD
it's our night
backdrop of the night
Our very first UCSI's Got Talent competiton finale was held during Prom too, in which, in indeed hiked up the whole atmosphere. :) Well done and congratulations to all the finalists. Same goes to our Prom King and Queen. =)
pop! pop! officiating ceremony with confetti
To be honest, i feel, Prom was the ultimate period for me, to end all the events held throughout my 3 years of student life. I thought it ended beautifully, which marked another great phase for me for graduation. I will remember it.
my psychology family

event

organizing event is fun and tough at the same time.
fun because you get to know a lot of new stuffs, get to know new people.
tough because there're many things you have to adapt to, including people.

people.
yea. i guess meeting up with people is indeed a big impact in life.
especially working as a team

what do u prefer?
to be the event organiser? or
to be the event's participant?

well. i love to be organizer.
i love to see people's satisfaction after each event.
i want to listen to people's feedbacks.
i enjoy working with people.
that's where you get to understand better...

i guess, school life is the most proper channel for us to learn
in order for us to prepare for the future. =)

i will miss all those events we've been through! :)
also, the people that i've worked with.

Thursday, June 18

coooooooooool.

i broke the office phone today.

you know, as in, crash, crashed? yea.
the phone was quite big.
oooooo... and it's Toshiba phone which costs around 280?
Had shifted over to a new office which wasn't really condusive because the wirings are like spider web for now. accidents do happen. Looking forward to a new layout of the whole unit. =X

people in the office are... funny and optimistic.
"Girl, don't be so depressed, this is just a phone and it's still usable!"
"Shanna, don't worry about it, i thought u're always a positive girl? smile!"
"Girl, don't worry about it, let me check and call other extension... HELLO? CAN HEAR ME? OK! BYE!" (that's a funny one by Amy)
"It's just an accident, no one wants it to happen."
Did i mention that we had a minor surgery with the phone?
*with super glue and thick rubber bands?*
the whole phone was like having bone fracture or something. -.-"

worse still, their reactions made me guilty.
why am i forever so careless? sigh.
because i don't care? -.-" it rhymes!! *woohooo!*

mood of the day: empty.

Wednesday, June 17

recently...

so far so good.
days have been great...
*you know, i am running out of words right now*

ok. back to topic.
started my part time job
at the same time, juggling with my research and assignments
i don't really find it stressful but i m making myself to be one.
haha! why? =="

attended final meeting of student council.
everything seems coming to an end. period.
for my entire uni life. no more meetings. no more activities. nothing.
sad truth is, that's when u and your friends clicked together.
from rare to medium rare to cooked. *what a metaphor*
working with different people indeed broadened up my horizon.
and i have to understand that different people have different ways of doing things.
from mistakes we learned. from praises, we gratified :)

still,
i don't fancy people running away from responsibilities =)
that's not how a person shows the attitude.

counselor brought an interesting point the other day.
i like you, but i don't like your attitude.
and i guess we shall fix the attitude.
that sounds sensible to me. =)

long way to go man...
walk with me, peeps! :)
gambateh!

butt too, has its' psychological mind

wonder why, these few days, had stomachache continously.
=_=" been heading in and out of toilet for quite some times.
what have i eaten?!

thursday:
while using a non-home toilet
i have to meditate myself in order to poo.
you know... kind of like...
"ok, poo. i need to poo. i want to poo, i HAVE to poo."

wait. pause. more pause. and moreeeee...
no production. -.-"

without wasting any of my time
i came out from the toilet, with a green face.
continued my work...
tahan. i have to tahan. yessssh!

few minutes later...

"ok, poo. i need to poo. i want to poo, i HAVE to poo."
meditation ran once again in the toilet...
well. not highly productive but at least, 10%?

great.

friday:
after class, i went home.
I climbed on the staircase of my house and
wooohooooo!! i could feel the bowel movement.
yes! it's time!
gosh, can't tahan anymore.
Dashed into toilet
and it was the most comfortable one! =DD
can't believe my butt recognised toilet just as how we recognised our own parents when we're small. =_=" darn. hurt to the core man! -.-"

and so, i boarded on the bus on Friday.
3.5 hours ride back to hometown. O_O"
and i had stomachache for TWICE! -.-"
for godsake, i got the seat which was way behind.
what's more, the bumpy bus made my stomach... turned into heat!
yea. i went to the toilet in the middle of the journey.

summary:
nothing is more painful than tolerating stomachache and toilet urge in the bus.
kill me! =X

Tuesday, June 9

the conference

Mesyuarat Majlis Perundingan Pelajar Kebangsaan (MPPK) was held at Mines Convention Centre today. A formal meet up with all the higher education institutions representatives, student councils so to speak and the ministers.
first photo of the day.
a very big name tag as if we're blind for it.
love the strip though.
agenda booklet with some information on past year minutes. -.-"
It was an eye opener event to be participated in. Got to see the scary media crews with their super sharp camera flash, VVIPs like Deputy Prime Minister, Higher Education Minister and many other ministers. Gotta see numerous student leaders, who wish to serve the students and community with betterment. Also, I was amazed by the students' proactive attitudes and mindset, with their assertiveness and effort in them. A few issues were arised by the majlis. It was ages since I read and listened to BM. O_O" Brain was kinda rusty. :)
both VIPs of the day.
Y.A.B. Tan Sri Dato' Haji Muhyiddin Bin Mohd. Yassin
respective students from different universities across the nation. 0_0"
Anyway! It's another great exposure (:
However, it wasn't really a good channel for IPTS (private institutions) to voice up the "turmoil". Haha! =D gambateh! :)
the solo us. =D
Joey, me, Yuki and Steph
btw, did i tell you we're quite a camwhore? -.-"

Sunday, June 7

million thank you.

Response has been overwhelming.
Friends are really helpful. :)
and I am very thankful for your help.

You know, at times, you can't do this alone, you seek help.
However, when you realise they're a bunch of peeps
are behind you, backing u up, continously...
these strength somehow boosted the confidence. :)

Shan Na is thankful for everyone's effort.

Art

What is art?
This evening, i took part in Art Therapy organized by Soka Gakkai Malaysia at Wisma Kebudayaan SGM. Our teacher of the day was K'vin Lee. He's a very knowledgeable and flexible person who gained his experiences from the States, and now, in Malaysia. A very friendly and soft spoken person, studied women and men. Haha! Did many interesting researches on tiny-miny human thingy around his world whom he perceives himself as an alien, studying human species. >_<" To him, psychology is a big no no. @_@"
this poster welcomed us at the entrance. Colourful! my cup of tea! =)

before Art Therapy, we went to view some art pieces. Vividly drawn by all the artists.

can't really shoot it closer as you'll be able to see the colour tones and the technique of the whole oil painting with scratches, textures and colours.

a very eye-catchy piece of drawing. Can you see its' texture of colour and the shadow. Seemed so real. ;)
Art therapy has been a very useful method in counseling field. Learnt it in Psychology Course too, which i think, will be very helpful for those less spoken people to express their feelings and thoughts, as well as to draw it with heart, not with their mental state of knowledge.

stepped out from the escalator, i saw this. :) love it. indeed artistic.

group pictures! :) art therapy session with a small group to increase its effectiveness. the one in all white, without any portrait, is Mr. K'vin Lee.

Anticipated for this session with expectation. Well, i would say i gained something from today's session. Indeed an eye-opener for me, to know more about myself and how i presented myself through drawing. His analysis was particially true about me and brought a big slap on myself. Haha! Drawing interpretation can be really subjective. He mentioned he could be wrong in me. :)

His interpretation of my drawing below: I am unsuitable to be in Psych field, @_@" which really IS a big slap on my face for myself. He told me, i have no listening ability. =( He mentioned that i am playful but no one wanna play with me -.-" Moreover, he said i am bubbly. Oh, yes. This i agreed. :) Then, he said i have my own ways of doing things and i need to get them done fast, which is like "pappp pappp pappp" (sound effect) to finish one task. I will be a workaholic as predicted by many. @_@" He felt i should enrol myself in communication field or event field in the future. -.-"""! Well, that's kinda... it's like an awakening!

4 of our drawings. Psych majors' drawings can be very complex and different from others, quoted from our teacher. @_@" so much of hidden meanings behind the curtain.

the degree

mood degree fluctuated. shooting down to the ground, to the well, deep into the sea.
one of my colleagues in Scientech (my internship company) passed away due to accident after knocked off from school. another one is still in hospital, carried with quite a critical condition.

the late colleague was someone whom i got in touched with the most because i was assigned in the office more during internship period. she was humorous and young. worse still, she left her baby and husband. :( Before we left, i remembered i did a wallpaper to her and saved it on her computer screen. Sad to know that it now stays forever as memory.

fingers snap! gone! just like tat.

cherish everyone around us.
most importantly, be careful on the road.
someone thought to be so far, yet the feeling is so real.
praying.
for everyone's safety and health.

barrier

This is a contradiction to my previous post. =X

No one denies that communication is the best tool in bonding everyone together. However, at times, society is stereotyping human being. Let's see.

When a person feels like sharing more, they tend to say, "Hey, you're too over and showing off everything you have." Why can't people accept others are having something extra than our own self? Again, it depends. Different people have different level of acceptance. No generalization. Hmmm.

OR... or... if a person shares some feelings of disturbance and you're claiming that he/she is pleading for sympathy. Crap. Never judge a person such way until you fully understand the situation. No one is perfect. Life is filled with ups and downs. Happy go lucky does have some expiry dates. Hehe! :)

Listened over the radio station, saying that, women are complicated. But guess what the DJ said? DJ happened to be a female. Quoted from her "Serve us right because women always make simple things complicated but there's always men to neutralise it." It's just sound so... ugh! Right! :) Or else, why do men and women exist together? =)

Still keeping the culture of SMCC, "Sharing and Caring is Our Way of Life". Forgo the negative ones, emphasize the positive sides. Break the barrier! :)

randomites

Bloggy seemed to be submerged in its' own lala-land for quite some time. Hmmm, does that mean my life event is stopping? *wink* Don't think so la. Hehe.

Blogging is a very subjective habit, i would say. You can blog your heart out by all means. Some of my friends choose to make it as private as possible, which is, for invited readers only. For this blog of mine, i choose to let it be viewed in public. I have no fear interacting my feelings and thoughts right here, right now. People may ask, "Aren't you making yourself too transparent and showing your true self to others?" Well, that depends :)

I choose to write something personal doesn't make me a transparent being, neither am i hiding my true self from anybody. Blogging is something which allows me to express my life and share it with beloved friends and family members. At least, what i can do is to tell my acquaintances about some part of my life.

Nowadays, people had lost the basic communication which is talking. People do not talk anymore. Any conflict happens, they would be excused by saying communication prob, communication prob. Why peeps never understand, at times, it is due to attitude and behavioral problem? No? Never? Or don't tell me this kinda situation never happened but blamed it to communication problem? If there's only COMMUNICATION problem exist, then, does anyone try to solve it by interacting with one another? Sad truth is no. =(

We, human, are too relying on technology. Look at myself, i am a blogger which seldom interact with everyone around me. That's sad. Friendster, Facebook, what's more to come? We would never understand how that person feels until we talk to them. This is really experiential. I am not implying that technology brings harm, but, i feel we have more ways to improve one's relationship. When i look at my friends' personal msg in facebook, at least i know what/how's their feelings. You know, at times, they may just update with you personally, they talk to you. It feels great!

Talk to people. Talk to your friends and family. It is forever a precious skill by God sent. Please utilise our freedom of speech! =D

Monday, June 1

To: Mei =)

And so... after 5 days!
*party pop! confetti!*
it's Mei's big day!
1 June!
Happy Birthday, Mei! =D
May you have a blessed year ahead.
Stay happy. Stay pretty.
Good to have you around all these while. =)
You're indeed a blessing to everyone around.

Home return! =D

Been away from KL for many days. XD Staying in Kluang had been great, with friends and family around. Got to eat nutritious food rather than big quatified junk pieces. Haha! =) Home is still the best. :) Got a conclusion from my friend, saying that, after so long, this week was the longest period we spent together during our uni life. @_@" sad truth but happy enough! :)
*****************************************

cooked seafood spaghetti for family dinner the other day. Love to cook at home because the ingredient is in "you name in, you got it" status. O_O"

received a handmade cross-stich towel from sy... cute kitty =D thanks, love it!

accompanied mum to buy flowers on Sunday, to brighten up our dining hall. @_@" to let it has a fresh-look feel. O_O" the bottle... haha! someone will recognise it. Hope to hear her comment here. Hehe! XD

a very impromptu movie Angels and Demon on Sunday afternoon till evening. Love it! The storyline and the architecture was great in Rome. :) Shooting style: marvellous! Accidentally kept the tickets, thus, had a snap of 'em.

with that, i conclude. =)
