after emails...

laptop's down with heart attack today for the 2nd time.
didn't get to check email for working purposes.

and so, i checked a while ago and read a few emails.
mostly spammed by my supervisor, May.

me is thankful.

for having her as a supervisor
who really acknowledges my work, my sweat and my effort.
though just a small line of sengkiu *my version of thank you*
or a mini compliment of "Well done, girl. You really helped me a lot."
i feel flattered.

now i can strongly understand what my lecturer said once
"The higher status you are, the lower you bow"

i think, i have a supervisor, who is humble and respectful enough
for me to serve better and most importantly, to learn to the max!

me, is deeply felt being appreciated. =)

Jogoya'ed.

Was it called a celebration or what? =)
Few of us got together and went for Jogoya as promised.
It is a buy 1 free 1 period until end of July.
First time in my life eating such pricey supper.
Love the design. Love the service.
Ornaments like lanterns caught my eyes always.
especially red one with wooden backdrop wall.
cutlery wasn't really silvery.
well. it was so-so because i didn't really find it hygienic. =x
Overall, I am satisfied with the food.
If only i had stomach like a cow. Then i feel it's worth for my money.
Haha! *burp* I wonder how many centimeters of my waist diameter had shot up.
Some MUST EAT dishes.
Tata! The mini steamboat with spicy soup
lots of abalone, prawns, fish, veggies in it, and and that lil mermaid shell'ed scallop! Yummy!!
steaming hot TEMPURA!
which we had lots and lots of 'em! =)
Yumyumyum! :) Behind was another family member of tempura- the sushi territory.
a must grab Haagen-Dazs ice cream!
Refreshing!
But add-on knowledge, don't eat it after the oyster.
will cause diarrhea.(Lim, 2009)
we shall see tmr. =X
Heavenly oysters! =)
Fat. Juicy. Lemony!
MUACHI! :)
Love them! ^^v
Hmm... i guess it was mainly due to the dissatisfaction from my friends before i stepped into Jogoya. Haha! So, i didn't put high expectation, but it came out quite well. The atmosphere blended well with its food. A perfect total score of craze. Well. It turned out superly good and satisfactory for me, at least i am free from assignment for this moment. Most important, it was the people whom I've been with. =)
Well, i am proud to have friends like them.
Pro-transexuals!
Apparently, an auntie passed by and giggled while looking at them. =D
Love this pic with Hui Ru. =)
I guess in my friends list, Jeanzz is the best cam-whore girl
She had 1000++ self portraits in her.... handphone.
*faint*
the girls! =)
The makan team.
The one with moustache, is Omer's elder bro. =)
enam orang! :)
Aftermath.
Took numerous photos before we made our way.

Supper called it a day.

Good night, earth. :)

BURPPP! =X

mouthful

I talk a lot.
Mouthful of word sometimes.
Too bubbly.
Too talkative.
Words.
Forever the most hurtful weapon on earth.
Sharper than a knife.
Slicing the heart into the valves.
It may hurt others.
Or myself, even.

fly home.

According to my sis, there's a bird nest hanging on the top of passion fruit tree. Sis and dad have been visiting them daily. Also, according to her, the baby birdie was nestling in between of the father and mother. It seemed warm. Guess it chirps a lot due to the warmth given.
This evening, our dad said, "When bird grows up, it flies away. Eventually, it will fly back to the nest, and feed its' parents. Same as human, birds do have humanity. They recognised parents, for who they were from and where they were."
How emotional my dad was during that time :)
I love my family... and i miss them lots.

so happened found a pic of this bird nest.
just nice. 4 of us! :)
papa, mummy, mizz and me! ^^

p/s: mizz, snap a pic of the real bird nest and let me see see! ^^v

UCSIU 22nd Convocation Day 2009

Vividly recalled in 2008, I was selling flowers with Student Council during the Convo Day. This year, I was an usher in the hall under Student Affair team on this beautiful Saturday. Time flies like a running horse. Here I am, extending my heartiest congratulations to all my seniors out there, also to all the UCSI'ians! :)
Being an usher wasn't really a pinch of salt for me. It indeed required lots and lots of patience to deal with p a r e n t s, ranging from rude to troublesome and complaintive ones. Oh my. What can i say? I am just an usher. I have tried my level best for this. The most encouraging one was from an international family, should be a Nigerian. This mother asked me to step forward and she patted my shoulder then told me, "You've done a good job, my girl. Thank you so much." I was like....... awwww.... *melt* feeling that, my "greeting and service" weren't wasted, at least, not to her.
picture snapped prior to the arrival of parents and guests.
Seeing all my great seniors during convocation, with their robe and mortal board on, i was so proud of them. 7 first class honours holders in Psychology Degree, i bet our Head of Department was smiling all the way she could. I am proud to be in this Psychology family! At least i knew, they are a batch of play hard and work hard team. :)
secretively snapped this group pic while they're taking theirs by the professional cams.

Graduating this year but can't get my heels step onto the red carpet on this very day was... well... @#$%$@ but hey hey hey!!! We're all throwing the mortal boards together at the 23rd Convocation Ceremony in 2010! Amennn!

post thought on Friday

After a long discussion cum training...
I just have one thought.

"It's never easy to be in an education line.
It's just tooooooo overwhelmed with so much of stuffs.
From academic to non academic.
From students services until a tiny miny complaint.
From students activities to funding of the activities.
It's never easy.
I just hope it serves a purpose.
for the best interest and welfare of the students."

Realization appeared to be earlier.
However, the impact was still yet to be adjusted.
Mentally and cognitively :)

Well, the team bonding is generating from days to days.
It's a good news. ^^

Off to bed, nites peeps!

post mortem

Attended the post mortem of Peer Counseling.
This group of students, seems so far yet so near to me :)

Passion. Commitment. Dare to fail.
These are the three points i had for the campaign.

Running an event, isn't like running your own feet on the ground.
You're bringing everyone's legs together, and run as a team.
People might say,
"Hey dumbo, why are you carrying sucha stupid board?"
But hey, we're creating a history here and you don't dare to do so.
People might argue,
"Why do we need to sarcrifise my time over this?"
But hey, you're doing something which you'll nv got to do next time.

This is passion, it's commitment, forever a spirit!
When one has passion, he or she never fail to persuade the others.
That's when commitment comes in, joining each force together.
Person in charge will never had to worry how come this nv completed.
Leaders will have faith in each other.

A post mortem,
isn't all just about compliment.
Constructive feedbacks and argument are more than important.
Widen your acceptance.
We should accept the criticism.
That's when improvement barge in.
To strengthen one another.
To improve you, me, and everybody.

If we were to focus on the results,
but we fail to pay attention to the process
what would we learn?

One said, "We're not afford to fail."
I asked, "Why not?"
Given the reasons, i kept my mum.
For me, i will choose to fail this.
So that my members will know,
commitment, team work, passion are the recipe of success,
for a troupe of youngsters to run an event.

Let people know we're here.
Acknowledge our existence.
"I am here!
... Are you there yet?"
We are all waiting! :)

my fikiran

Things in life, got to do with force.
As in, force... energy. :)
Be in negative or positive.
For instance,
you are joining a competition, u gotta have +ve mindset.
Another example,
you are attending a funeral, you have a -ve feeling.

See?
+ve, -ve, +ve, -ve.
Everything gotta deal with forces.

As a counselor, what force would you inculcate?
I've met a few counselors in my life.
All of them, i would say ALL of them...
are so positive and motivative! =D

No matter it's a personal issue or academic issue, even working issue.
They deal positively.
Most importantly, they educate students passionately.
Build up the good character in them.
Discover each's strength.
Minimise the weakness existence.
Improve one's self esteem.
Ain't them the angels God sent?

I hope i can be just like them.
To motivate the students :)
Even, my friends and family members :))
Most importantly, myself.

BLAST IT! =D

A friendship-bonding event was held in UCSI last week. One of the major events brought to you by Peer Counseling of UCSIU and it was the first event held during my part-time. Response was great, not to say the best, still, overwhelming. :) Both South Wing and North Wing students were exposed by this.
The objective of the event was positively educated, where people get to know this helping ministry by instilling some faith, trust and love. Pay-It-Ahead program was initiated in which each of the student needs to help out the needy and to spread the love of helping to the others. I thought the aim is beneficial and i hope students get priviledge from this program.
BLAST IT ACT! :)
Write on me, Walk with me, Say HI to me! :)
Opening Ceremony
Why SokeLing seem like poking her skin rather than balloon? Haha!
and did u realise? they were all... ladies! -.-"?
Interactive game: Leap of Faith.
Many students tried this out. Good response coz it's challenging!
So, do you trust your friends down there?
Last day of the event at North Wing.
It was haawt!
Group game: Helium Stick
Through communication and unity, students shifted the stick down on the floor.
High demand of team spirit and group work needed.
Seems easy but wait till you try it! :)
Leap of Faith at North Wing.
Amy tried this as well. =D
and she said she's gonna die! XD
I guess he's the perfect faller i've ever seen. :)
Prizes from Laurent Bleu. Voucher voucher for facial treatment! :)

Commercial break! XD
People really said Hi to me. -.-"
It was fun! haha!

Let's Fly Kite! =D

It was a sunny skin-tearing Saturday. XD
Best Buddies organized an outing for all the buddies to fly kite at Metropolitan Park, Kepong. Hehe! Off we go! :)

There were many people at the park. People were flying kite, jogging, running around, playing. I guess H1N1 isn't that scary afterall.
The whole body never stop sweating but it was fun because of outdoor activities. Kite flying, volleyball digging and... my first time ever- Frisbee!! :) and... camwhoring as well! =DD

an edited version of Musical Chair.
Shall be named as Musical Newspaper- once the music stops, just step in!

It was indeed a meaningful event, seeing the joyous buddies laughing and smiling. :) Lying on the green field and viewed the sky with so many kites hanging up the horizon, brightened up my day! Peaceful and stress-free! (just for that moment).

Nitia was assisting buddies to fly kite.

so did May :)

Check out the kites. Like tonnes of bees. -.-"
and btw, Omer was farting! XD
Thank you everyone for making this a success! :)
Best Buddies Group Picture
The organizer. =)

The view of nature. Thanks to HuiRu for snapping those pictures.

(by taking my camera without my consent!)
Hahahahahahhahaha! :) Love those pics! =D

Thought: We can do more than we imagine, by showing love and care to people around us, most importantly, to befriend with people like them. :)
