My back =S

After underwent the period of cacat'ing, now, i realise that it feels so good to be able to walk and stand like a normal being.

Few days ago, my back was hurt like sh*t. I mean, real pain! And i never encountered such feeling before. It's like ur whole leg numb. Your back (below waist) pain like needles poking. You could hardly get down the staircase. You could hardly stand straight. Omg. Really feel like killing myself for not being able to walk and stand for long. What pathetic was i had to use both of my hands to support the heavy me. @@" Cannot endure such pain. This was my first time... hands on experience in such pain. Haha! Proud of me? Yeahhh!! =="

According to doc, my nerve and muscle got twisted! Don't ask me why. Coz i donno why as well. Weeeee! How COOL is that?! =)

This caused me:

-Unable to attend the celebration for yuki n steph.

-Unable to send my sis to hostel and help her.

-Unable to celebrate father's day with my dad.

-Unable to go Melaka with my family!

-Able to eat medicine and apply cream! -_-"

ARGHHHH! Can i roar?! *ROARING*

I must cherish the healthy me later coz i m still recovering. =)

Thank you my roommate & housemates & my family who take care of me. =) Especially my family. ==" This was the first time my parents brought me to clinic of KL when they supposed to bring me shopping on last sat. HOW WONDERFUL! ^^

Well, the K session was great. Lasted until some of us got our throats sored. ==" 11am++ to 3pm. I thought the time spent was optimum. Not exceeding any limit. Haha. =) i would say, my housemates really know how to sing=) Too many K queens and kings here with singing passion and facial expressions which made all of us burst into tears of joy. ==" I shall remain as photographer. Pantulan~

Pantulan, so-called reflection... social psychology is indeed a pantulan towards human in life. It portrays certain characteristics, behaviors and attitudes that one's possesses. "how come this word has so many S's? Made me blur!"

Anyway... today, we learnt about biases in attitude. Hmmm. In my own defination, it can be meant as the tendency to like or dislike something/one which do not based on the fact. Hmmm. Do i have it? Yeap. I do. There are four levels of biases in our daily lives.

Level 1: Selective exposure.

-Basically, it means if we're being in the presense of the biasness. We tend to choose to either walk away, see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil in front of the bias'ed subject/human. Well, i did that. I choose to go away.

Level 2: Selective attention.

- Hmmm... this could mean, you shift the attention towards certain thing in order to look at the things that u don't prefer. Hmmm... shifting attention is easier been said than done. You may successfully shifting ur attention, but did you really don't think of it? Nope.

Level 3: Selective retention.

- Well, if you don't want to remember it, then forget it. Again, this is hard to the core. Human has feelings towards everything. Being forgetful can be an accident. But, being totally ignorant, it's hard. =)

Level 4: Selective perception.

- Here, it means our interpretation. Although u know the existence of the biasness in your mind, but the keras kepala mind will bring you nowhere. No matter how good or bad the person/thing is, your interpretation on him/her/it will still be the same. Biasness still exists. *opps* No matter positive or negative. ^^

Hmmm... Just thought of sharing it with you guys about what i've learnt today because it impacted me a lot during this class. I bet, my friends felt it too. ^^ Again, social psych makes me think. =)

UCSI is kinda happening recently. Student Council Election 2008 is just around the corner. Never did i expect that i'll be able to involve in it. Hoho! Becoming the "kaki" for our friends, Steph and Yuki who are running for president and vice president posts. Hehe! Fun FUn!

This morning, we've been pumping, blowing and distributing balloons and fliers to the students. =) Camera crew was there. -_-" Sweats!Well, it was fun! We all wore orange shirts and it matched well with our posters. =) Coz it is themed with orange colour. The balloons were orange as well! PLUS! The "Twister Orange Juice" truck was at Block A too! -_-" Just in time to promote together with us and helped us indirectly. All so the orangy! ==" Haha! =) And the outsiders said we've ady won by the look. Coz we really created the atmosphere there. I bet the opponents were panting coz they had nothing but a table and few chairs. Sigh. Why leh? Must compete fairly mah... everyone shld put in effort for the campaign, right? =x Anyway, we all shiok shiok had fun and shiok sendiri as usual lar. Of course, serious work like surveys also being done by us.

Chatting with my sis over msn today. She's going for studies soon. Left both my parents at home ady. =X Speaking of this, my parents have been acting abnormally recently. Haha! Why i would say it this way? Firstly, my dad said he wants to blog. -_-" OMG. Inherited my habit. Haha! Good job. And he said he wants to msn/skype with us, therefore he wants to buy a webcam. @@" Isn't it a good news?

Secondly, is my mum. Haha! She's been changing from negative to positive. She's been always the villain role at home and my dad is the saint. Haha! My sis always compare her with dad. Coz she always said this is not good, that is not good. No matter how strict she is, i am still respecting her coz she's my one and only. Never argued. Never talked back to her. Maybe i am just too timid. =) Recently, she's learning how to surf the net. Maybe next time she can be with my dad and chat with us through msn. Webcam'ing. Haha! And she bought lots of things for me and my sis, which is very unusual. ==" Her care seems to be more apparent than last time. Haha!

See? This is the effect of daughters leaving the house. This is the time when you get to know how much they love us. =) i love you too! ^^ Appreciating people is always the greatest deed. I mean, don't always complain all the cons. Think of the positive sides. Appreciate people when they are around.

my priority

This evening, was out with housemates for steamboat dinner. Hehe~ =) As usual, we crapped and crapped and crapped. Hmmm... throughout the silly conversation we had, i realised something from yC. She said, my priority now is family, love, money. Haha~ Very wise thoughts i think. People like her, at this age, ady knows her priority. She may looks silly but i think her thinking is quite precise and mature.

Anyway, she made me realise my priority as well. Come to think of that, i'm quite confused with my priority right now. Hmmm. I mean, everyone has his/her own way of thinking. At times, i really think that i'm a selfish being. I don't know how to set my priority right. Family comes first or friends come first?

Well, to me, my priority chain would be: family& friends-->studies--->job (contribution to the society). Sometimes, it's hard to decide whether you're on the right track. Take an example of COOP this year, wanting to serve the community without any penny? Can i? NOPE. Coz living in KL needs money. Especially transportation $. Thus, this second COOP, i'll take up a job which can provide me some $ to support my transportation and makan expenses. Hehe! =) Hope i can get a good job.

Hmmm... at times i thought, how bout my love life? Friends around me have been wishing me to get a good bf during my bday early of this year. I think they are afraid i'll remain single for life. -_-" And they keep on predicting how good my partner will be to be with me. Well, that's just their prediction and illusion. Haha! My destiny is still floating somewhere. Who does not want to be loved? =) Hope one day, love can be with me. ^^ Wish me luck.

Put the Glass Down

A professor began his class by holding up a glass with some water in it.

He held it up for all to see; asked the students,' How much do you think this glass weighs?

"50gms!" ... "100gms!' ..."125gms", the students answered.

'I really don't know unless I weigh it,' said the professor,

'but, my question is: What would happen if I held it up like this for a few minutes?'

'Nothing' the students said.

'Ok what would happen if I held it up like this for an hour? ' the professor asked.

'Your arm would begin to ache' said one of the students.

'You're right, now what would happen if I held it for a day?'

'Your arm could go numb, you might have severe muscle stress; paralysis; Have to go to hospital for sure!' ventured another student; All the students laughed.

'Very good. But during all this, did the weight of the glass change? ' asked The professor.

'No' the students said.

Then what caused the arm ache & the muscle stress?' The students were puzzled.

'Put the glass down!' said one of the students.

'Exactly! ' said the professor.'

Life's problems are something like this. Hold it for a few minutes in your head; they seem OK. Think of them for a long time & they begin to ache. Hold it even longer & they begin to paralyze you. You will not be able to do anything.

It's important to think of the challenges (problems) in your life, but EVEN MORE IMPORTANT to 'put them down' at the end of every day before you go to sleep. That way, you are not stressed, you wake up every day fresh & strong & can handle any issue, any challenge that comes your way!'

In life, we reject and being rejected. How will you feel if u're being rejected? No matter in what context. Hmmm... feeling lonely and isolated... negative right? *wondering*

I can't imagine one day, i m being rejected by people around me.

Biasness is also very terrible.

People tend to have bias towards certain things and people. When biasness out-stretched everything, no matter how good he/she does, everything goes back to zero. Everything is just crap. We can't hear, we can't see, we can't interpret whether is right or wrong. What we see are all the -ve stuffs. First impression (what i've learnt in class today) is very important. If somebody impresses you, you feel soooo good about it. Nonetheless, if that person happened to do something negative over and over, ur level of positive impression tends to drop into the well until u have bias towards them. Sigh. Human. What is so wrong with us now? -_-" Penny of thoughts now...

Last Monday, which was Wesak Day, a public hol for us. Being caught to go Klang with Keei they all to have bakuteh. -__-" Wesak Day supposed to go vegetarian bukan? ==" But we all so carnivorous'ish... craving for meat! @@" Then we headed all the way to Klang just for bakuteh. @@ Can't believe i m eating bakuteh for breakfast. I mean, it has not been my fav to go oily meaty stuffs for breakfast. Or shld i say, i seldom take breakfast ever since i studied here? Hehe! Half-right. hehe!

In the end, we called for S.O.S. Haha!
