Saturday, January 17

for once in my life...

I rode on elephant. Fed it. Bathed with it. Haha!
It was a sunny Saturday morning. Was out with Psych Club gang for Elephant Sanctuary in Pahang. Kinda excited but in the end, there were only five of us made it for the trip. Still, we went for it. It was a worthwhile experience to get in touch with our Mother nature. Who says Malaysia isn't fun? =)
5 of us with the elephant. =)
L-R: Nitia, Leona, Aple, Kwang and Shan Na
i feel this pic was really sweet!
It was a 2 hours drive and a big thank to Leona for her car and her effort for sending us all over the places. ^^ Luckily we chose to go although there were only few of us. I had so much of fun with them. All the chatters we had, and of course, the elephants! Yeay! Super uber loved all the pics taken.
Yes, i have crazy seniors. What can i say? =D
Due to my grand seniors, we're into the tablo-freezing act.
this was... funny. =____="
After so many years of living, this is my first time to be so close with this gigantic animal. =________=" I feel i am so little. -_-" my assumption goes off* I lurve to be with the nature of flora. The river. The contours of mountains. The blueish sky with the stretch of white clouds. Also, some orang asli settlement. Looking at those traditional houses with the topping of wild grass. Wow. Such a tranquility scene to be seen. I doubt many people would like this. However, i lurve it. Hehe!
Got the chance to visit the elephant muzium.
It was the elephant's skull
which almost occupied half of my body.
Speaking of elephants, they were some from India. Guess how old was it? 71 years old! =O Also, they were some native local elephants. They were very tame. Some were super pampered by the tourists. You know what? Their poo... omg... super big lumpsome of them. I guess a lump of their poos equal to our human 3 days' product. What amazed me was... omg... they pee with the flow of our 5x normal house pipe water. Tremendously shocked when i witnessed it. =D
oh yes. Ignore my double chins.
I was excited, scared and anticipated for the feeding time!
it's banana!
this is a 4 years old baby elephant.
The youngest among all.
CUTIE!
3 of us rode on the elephant. =x
of course, the guys. =)
Apart from this, bathing with them was one of the agendas. We rode on it and the instructor ordered them to walk in the river. In a split second, it went down and dropped us into the river. Let's imagine, it's like the slow motion of banana boat. Haha! Super fun though we've mentally prepared for the fall. Dipped into the river was very refreshing. Hehe. Elephants were very hairy though. =_=" Haha!
a group pic before the bathing. =)
i wonder how did the elephant feel when the giant me stepped on it.
wow! it's bathing time! ^^
getting down! getting down.....
opps! =D fun!
half dead. haha! ^^
before our departure.
Thank you guys for this trip. I had so much fun and knowledge was instilled.

The night continued with other committee members' gathering.

To be continued...
