It's the end of my 4 days lectures, a period for my first week. Hectic. Yes. Can't run away from this truth. =)
Well. My insights for the 1st week of classes are rather interesting. Was talking over with my lecturer few days ago. Sharing some stories. Hmmm. Today, she claimed that she's the evil advocate. Haha! Indeed. She likes the word "WHY" and "HOW". Behind all her questions, she made us think and rethink. Squeeze our brain juice.
One thing that i can't forget was, she mentioned psychology majors should always think of the positive side. If a thing consists of 1% of good and 99% of bads, we gotta choose to believe that 1%. What do we get in return? We may turn that 1% to maybe 10%? Initially, i was complaining about a colleague i met and Ms.V kept on probing "Why he said this? How do you know? What's the good in him?". Cool. She made a big circle and made us realised her hidden meaning.
A child who always receives comments like "Hey, you're stupid!" with a child who receives "Hey, you did well!" does differ in some extents. Their mental and emotional growth are different. For those who prone to have children, please change our culture into a more positive one. I feel, it's time to change and evolve. Abandon those conservative ones and be constructive and supportive towards our children.
We don'thave to be number 1 always .
But we shall believe that 1% in our life. =)
May you have a great 1% in anytime of your days.
