Final Season

Tomorrow is the last day of internship.
I mean, really LAST DAY-last day internship.
No more.
Yet looking forward, yet can't bear to leave.

I will miss them all. =)
For our laughters, lame jokes, fighting spirit and team work.
Most importantly, i'll miss them in person.

It's time for a short break.
Shan Na needs holidays, to rest and lepak around for a while.
Time to catch up with my family and friends.

I'll be back!
*keeping fingers crossed*

Finale- UCSIx7's Christmas Eve

Ok. This is a belated post of mine. ^^
So in lurve with the photography session.
Finally, we're so done with our internship company. BYE!
Our day ended with movie, good food, crazy companions, christmas carols, and joyful ambience.
We watched Doraemon and it's rather disappointing due to the long winded story line, blur animation at certain period of time which made us, at first, thought that we had a problematic vision. However, the story touched my heart a little in the end but it's very exhausted of watching. Big cross for the movie this time. =X
After that, the gang moved on with christmas deco shooting. Haha! =) Not bad at all. The atmosphere was very christmas'ish in MidValley at night. The colourful bulbs were entangled on the tall christmas trees. So many lil presents in the colourful booths, which cost a bomb too.
couples of the night
the available ones. Haha!
bersama-sama ambil gambar!
Then, second round of the night was hanging out at Station 1 back in Cheras. Ordered some food to fill up our growling stomachs. However, the mass customers' traffic in Station 1 brought the quality down that night. Alas, counting down for Christmas. Woooohooo!
My christmas dinner set at Station 1.
The leading male singer (in black singlet) was so powerful!
The atmosphere reached to the peak when he went up on stage.
Countdown set: Party set as the complimentary of Christmas.
hehe! the gang. *i was taking pics*
see how joyful the girls were...

The whole post sounds so saddening right? Haha! With the less interesting activities we had. =D But i really had a different christmas this year. Though the night wasn't filled with super enjoyable event but spending time with them wasn't wasted somehow. UCSIx7's friendship is my best christmas gift. The name itself will always being remembered and treasured.
Thanks for all those wonderful moment we had for these two months, with all those craps, laughters, tears of joy and sharing times. I really miss all the meals we had everyday, the oil we burnt together after work and all those hang-outs we had. Guess, this internship was a worthwhile opportunity to get to know you all.
Merry Christmas, everyone.
Merry Christmas, UCSIx7~!
Bidding farewell to the company.
Welcome on board, UCSI.

Saturday, December 20

i am not alone.

To begin with, a big hug to HuiRu, ShueLing, HonChin and Kimfah for such a great night. It's good to have u guys with me, to share and to encourage. From here, i know i am not alone to go through the days. Instead of grumbling on the negative thoughts, we exhanged the positive ones with each other. Kinda touched to listen to everyone of you. Our internship days are coming towards the end. Guess we're going to miss it so much for what we've gone through these two months. Short and sweet. It's not easy to have friends with same channel. ^^ I mean it.
Neon lights were shining brightly when we stood tall at the observation tower of LookOut Point, the second destination right after our company's christmas gathering. =) Breathing in and out deeply to vent our feelings. Hehe. Anyway, we thanked company for the food. Also, thanks Jasmine for the square chipmunks pillow as a christmas gift during gift exchange session.
Pictures taken. The night ended with a cup of drinks, food and a fruitful & meaningful dialogue with them at wee hour.

Day 42-45 Presentation Days (Mon-Wed)

It is our presentation week starting from Monday to Thursday. On Monday, it was the presentation of Junior Robot (which we thought it's totally none of our business since we're leaving soon.) However, we were still being trained and become a trainer too. =( Or should i say, forced to be there?
Frankly speaking, I have no interest for the training but still, we gotta attend the training. I was glad that UCSIx7 can produce good work and presentation. While free time, the kepoh us put up some lego bricks and made some weird models. Presenting to you...
1. the grave yard-
2. the snake
3. froggy! @_@

My post thought after 3 days of training: It's funny how an intern student become a real trainer for this company's staffs. Why? One core reason: We did almost everything for them, including the manual, the syllabus, the slides show, products and ideas for the Year 2009.

In a positive mind: it's a worth while experience to be able to present it to those seniors in the company. However, i guess our works and efforts were not appreciated. Keep on picking the flaws of ours has been their all time favourites. A sarcastic mocking evil laugh is even on their facial expression. Worse still, they want us to lighten their burden by assisting them in prepare 98% of the work for the year 2009. No matter how good you are, you're still considered low standard. No one sees us in the eye of positive attitudes but to put us into spots and increase our stress level with deadlines. Such an unprofessional scene if anyone of you attend the so-called training.

Nonetheless, the bond of UCSIx7 will never break. The more YOU reinforce in negative way, the more united we are in our hearts and mind.

Counting down: 6 days more!!!!! *HUGE GRIN*

Day 44- crazy Tuesday evening!

It was a sudden plan to go U-Lek for an evening tea break after work. =X However, i had dinner there due too extreme hunger. Haha! =D Prawn meeeeee... yummy!
To cut my story short, i just wanna share a crazy experience what UCSIx7 did. Around 6.45pm, there was a heavy traffic along the main road. We were stucked nearby the main road junctions. Both of our cars were following front and back and I was at the passenger seat in SokeLing's car.
While waiting for the jam, HonChin dashed out of HuiRu's car and pulled SokeLing's car wiper. It happened within split second. @____________@" Hahaahahahha! It caught the eyes of all the drivers around our cars. @_@" Especially the motorcyclists which were right beside us. Hahahhahaha! Real fun and crazy! All of us laughed like crazy. We could see HuiRu's car was vibrating coz all of them were laughing so hard. =D In the end, they got back to my house to put it back for SokeLing. Sot man!
SL's wiper. =_=" HuiRu's car was right in front. haha!

Before this, we actually thought of making up a "Get-out-of-car quarrel scene" for few seconds and exchange car seat to see what's the reaction of the drivers while traffic jam. But we're not daring enought YET. It will happen one day. Haha! We must play while we're still young. Psychology students are psyched somehow.

ucsix6 supper'ed!

Supper has been out of my daily lives ever since internship started.
Tonight was special! =)
It's the first time i had it with ucsix6!
Tonnes of bird talk together~ Makan together.
We face each other almost 24/7. @_@" Haha!
Until our conversation over the border with malnutritious talks. *wink*

Steven's Corner =)
Super great mamak.
It'll be even better if it's not so pricey. =x

Just got home a while ago.
If no one stops, i think we can chat over the night. =="
I feel super great right now.
So many stories to listen and share. *refreshing!*

The best gift of internship:
My relationship with UCSIx7! ^^
Thank you guys! =)
I really hope to keep in touch with them after internship is over.

Countdown machine is still at the fastest lane: 9 days!!!
YOOOOOHOOOOO!
The more he wants to tear us apart, the more united we are.
Keep up the spirit!
We can go through this together! =D

UCSIx7 Steamboat'ed!

As suggested, we made our way to BBQ Steamboat Buffet Restaurant after work yesterday. Hehe! This was suppposed a night to celebrate SnowBell's bday. Hehe! Since we ady celebrated, therefore, we just had a lil dinner session cum celebration. What's so special for the night? Many toasts for many events:
1. Happy Birthday to SnowBell.
2. UCSIx8 Holiday Camp's idea for the company. (guess, the bosses bought our idea)
3. Can slightly rest our mind for Science products.
4. Another 2 weeks here in the company for internship.
5. More and more works for us to do in company! Argh.

What an ironic toast huh? We always lurve reverse psychology, also, we always indulge in teasing each other as a good team. Stomaches were almost bloated after the buffet steamboat. Ate our hearts out and i could feel the munched food was located at my throat. *burp* Great night with them!
Our "Boat"
The soup was superb! Boiled with many types of seafood.
-with lala, prawns, fish, meat.
The hot plate was even better-
with all the meat- chic, pork, beef, lamb, fish and etc.
Not forgetting, the veggie and mushroom! Super sweet seafood savour!
the feast was going to begin!
huiru, what expression was that? =="
Presenting the Statue of Liberty from UCSIx7: Yap Hon Chin!
the geli HC. =_=" Was eating crab.
a group pic before leaving
wanted to act very very full but in the end, i looked like cacat.

Happy Birthday, Shue Ling!

A surprise birthday celebration for ShueLing (the snowbell) was held at mamak. Opps! Mamak is a good place somehow! Hehe! Wanted to give the special night to her boyfriend, thus, we gotta celeb for her a day earlier. Managed to dig her out for yumcha session. =x As long as we had fun, she had fun, then everything is GREAT! ^^

I made a birthday board for her with UCSIx6's wishes onto it. Our friendships have strengthened in another way through this internship, which is good! =D We lurve to see her reaction, especially her facial expression, which is always so-called "facial cramp". Haha! She appreciated the gift (card) we gave and i was equally glad that she's someone who appreciates people's work. =) Always treat her as our lil sis, in UniYouth, we call her "bao-bei". o.O" Fun is always doubled with her presence. =D

Happy Birthday! Stay happy, healthy and crazy always!
Wish you all the best in your future endeavours.
Back in office yesterday, ScienceTech celebrated for SL's birthday and our senior's farewell simultaneously.

Day 32-

Wow! Time flies! I love this digit! =D Exceeded 30 days. =) Counting down machine is still on the run.

It's just another normal day in the office today. Nothing much special except scratching our heads off for the science experimental games and products. Been reading quite a lot lately and absorb some knowledge, which somehow useful for our daily lives. The exploration of books and internet has turned out to be our daily bread. Sigh.

Today, i did two experiments which were banned by the upper level. Hmm. I've tried many times with never give up motto, but still, failed. However, it did not really motivate us to downgrade ourselves in the office. We ransacked books, nets and all. =D Kinda look forward to our presentation day. Hope UCSIx8 can have the best group presentation on this coming Friday. Sigh. Meaning, we'll be busy these few days and nights. =X We just ended our discussion not long ago. Super OT man! ==" This is our personal OT lar. Haha! ^^

Anyway, today, my friends and I had another version of MSN in the office without any connection. =x Hehe! Below is the pic!
Office has no wireless service, thus, we can only manually msn by using Micro. Word... I know, it's stupid. Three of us (sL, hC and me) sat in front of the laptop and typed/replied others' msgs. The reactions were damn funny! =D Haha! Most of the time, we typed out our dissatisfaction and opinions/discussion among the 3 of us. Hehe! =D This was done during our reading time. *big grin* I really enjoyed myself to the fullest in the company with these few monkeys from UCSI. Haha! ^^

Day 29- extreme blue

I had the most blue'ish day of my internship life yesterday. Sat in front of the computer from 8.30am to 5pm without talking up to 10 sentences for the whole day. I wonder was it the strike of PMS? Hmm. don't think so.
Day 29 and Day 28 were different to the extreme. I felt so helpless yesterday with me alone in the cubicle without any communication. My partner was delegated to another task and left me with the group work alone. S i g h. Couldn't really help much coz all of us had to buck up for the deadlines. Omg. Deadlines were a whole lot list with tonnes of brain-juice consumption works. Felt so down.
to be continued...

Thursday, November 27

Day 28

Today, has been the most self-fulfiling day of my internship after sticking here for almost a month. =x Went to a small kampung school for one day camp. Was able to lead some activities. Bet this was the time for us to produce something by ourselves instead of standing there as a bystander to become the grass on the field. =D Thank you for making me learn something today. Hehe! =D I am still trying to communicate with the kids. =) Today's kids were fun and obedient~ I guess this is the most favourable day of my internship up until now. XD *be grateful*
Time machine is still on the run!
Counting down to independence day: 21 days! =D *can't wait*
those were the days...
kinda miss my primary school life.
Books, basketball, badminton, friends and teachers.
this pic was taken on this tuesday.

Day 23- finale

Finally, we don't have to head to The Mines early in the morning anymore. Today was the finale of SIIC and SIRC events for ScienceTech. No more robots, no more kids, no more and no more. Yeay! and no more KFC *wink*.
I was beat. It has been a long day and we're basically working non stop and kept on standing. Being able to sit down for 5 minutes in that event was indeed a thankful act. Haha! ^^ After the event, boss said wanna have a gathering dinner and everyone had to go. Those who couldn't make it was not taken into consideration. *poor thing* After working for so many extra hours, only then we knew we won't be having any extra allowances but only a meal. Sigh. *speechless* A friend of mine told me, "although it's a treat but i don't seem to be high of it." So true. =X However, we were still able to enjoy ourselves despite of our low energy bars. Anyway, I was able to snap some shots of food and people today.
huiru, me and shueling.
honchin and me.
behind us is ShueLing the bug! =D
curry fish head
yong tau fu
I malas to slot in every pic of the food today.

I always mention about UCSIx6 and never gotta chance to show a pic of us. Here we are. Taken during our supervisor's birthday back in few weeks time.

My thought of today's:
Everyone has a mask in hand but i believe we can choose not to put on the mask to treat others. In Psychology, we learn about "low self monitorer" (without a mask on) and "high self monitorer" (with a mask on). Which one you prefer to be in? Aren't we suppose to show our sincerity? No matter to who, when and where. However, i saw totally opposite scenario here. Sigh. Living ourselves in the comfort zone is always the best and the worst because I never learned how to grow out of bound. However, life is always within our choice. I believe we can choose to or not to do something. If do not fancy this, why make yourself so hard to like it? Keep mum and let the days pass. Everything will be fine. =) As usual, i am still not fit into this cruel and realistic world where sweet words pay everything. Recently, only i realise i actually have my little own principle to hold on to. *amusing*
Lots of works and training are awaiting. Really a lot. It's worse than doing assignments and presentations in classes. It's like a list, u see. Sigh. I need motivation. Please grant me some passion.

Sunday, November 16

Day 18- beautiful sleeping day was crashed.

"Great!"
We worked on Sunday.
There's SIIC (ScienceTech Inter-School Innovation and Invention Competition) at The Mines Convention Centre in collaboration with Malaysia Book Fair 2008.
Our beautiful Sunday was burnt just like that.
We worked. Worked. and worked.
What i hope for is our effort to be paid off.
Not in terms of monetary but emotionally and psychologically.
This is my ONLY hope for this internship.
We don't want to be the politicians.
My piece of work

Day 13- chaos

Today, we all decided to have mcD breakfast before work. Thus, we went out at 6.15am. Sadly, McD's crew was cleaning the kitchen and they could only open at 7am. All of us were like "WHAT?!" *jaw widely opened* Spoiled our beautiful sleep. Haha! But in the end, we still mamak'ing lar. Hehe! ^^ 1st time we encountered this. Haha! =D The stubborn us, decided to go again tmr. =D
Today, we went to another Primary School to assist a company in introduce topics like: space, sun and planets. They had prisma presentation, sort of like the gazer thingy. =x They also taught students to make paper sundial. By listening to their teachings, i somehow felt comforting because they were patient and soft spoken. =) Wonder our company's ppl can feel it or not. Big sigh.
The sundial.
It uses sunshine to check the time in olden days.
of course, students were making the cardboard type lar. Haha! Not the metal.
Later, we went back to office and continued with those endless tasks and unfinished jobs respectively. Again, i continued with my card making. Omg. More to come. Then some of us made the model and I could feel the Christmas warmth from it. I'll show you guys the pic some day this week. =) Surprise of the day: Huiru handmade a very cute snowman by using recycled items. *applause* Haha! ^^

huiru's artwork! -paddy snowwoman! =x Don't kill me! =p

Thought of today: Respect people's decision and have faith in us, at least, acknowledge the hard work of others. I know we (interns) are not strong, neither we are weak. Do not judge people recklessly before you see the work of others'. I guess, no one can be persuaded by you with your such attitudes. You are making us HOT here. =X I am really sorry to say that you are not the leader we respect. Walk the talk please. We're trying our best to make the best of out the bests. Thanks. Anyhow, we're still enjoying ourselves with every day jokes, laughters and cold beam words. *muahaha* -learning days by days-

Monday, November 10

Day 12 - pls kill me!

Internship Day 12

Can someone please tell me i'm not going to work in the office for the rest of my life? It's simply bored to death! I'm serious!~ I can't stand myself for sitting and sticking my butt on the chair for whole day. My shoulders were stiff~My fingers were numb~
Guess what i've been doing today? It was SO SO SO fun! I was a card maker! =D From designing to finishing the card until it stands. For 100pax... I wonder my productivity has decreased drastically or what but i've been doing solely THIS for the whole day. Omg.
First, i designed-->edited-->printed-->cut--->laminated--> tap them-->packed. This process seems a piece of cake right? But, i seriously used up the whole day for it and my whole body was aching like shit. Sigh. My fingers couldn't move because i was holding the blade tightly to cut the hard laminated plastics. Moreover, this process was doubled due to two designs.
Along the journey of today, i've been thinking quite a lot coz no one was disturbing me. I was the only one being placed in the office by boss today and i hated it. LOTS. Kids nowadays can really being neglected by parents. Parents can run away from their responsibilities just to take care of the job instead of their own flesh and blood. What on earth has the society become? If u were to shun your hands off, then why did u bear the kids in the first place? Please clear your head and think wisely before everything begins, especially starting a family. The future of the kids are really depending on parents. I wasn't eavesdropping but the conversation was way too loud for me to not to hear it. *wink*
the last 10 cards i've finalized at 4.30pm of today.

Monday was indeed a blue one!

Friday, November 7

Day 10

It was the last day to be here with LM's students. Hmm... i wasn't really excited, neither did i longed for them anyway. Haha! :D
The sky was beautiful today and i managed to grab one shot of it. Hehe! This school is in the hub of the city. I feel it's a bit humid and heaty. Covered by tall buildings. KLCC was just a stone's away from there. @_@" So, yea...
Finally! We don't have to return to this school for activity purposes. The authority wasn't really friendly as an educators. S i g h. Even the guards also gave us the unfriendly treatment. Pointing us here and there just to get our car parked with those ordering tones. What the...duttttt~
I'm getting exhausted of co-op from days to days, let it be mental or emotional wise. Pondered twice- I guess it's another golden period to learn and step onto this cruel world of working era. Whatever it is, I just hope the UCSIx6 can be happily completing our coop and wash our butts off from there. We have to perform well and excel in anyway we can ethically. =)
Countdown to independence: 50 days.
"Gambateh, UCSIx6! Woooosshhaahh!"

Tuesday, November 4

Day 7

It's been exactly a week.
A torturous adapting week for us to wake up and work.
Today was another special one.
The UCSIx6 were working together under one school again. =)
It's fun to be with them. ^^
The best thing was we rode the same car to school instead of our colleagues' cars. Coz we always being separated. ='(
It was fun today~ to share and to laugh~
I enjoyed myself much despite of low body battery. =x
We also chatted some uni life stories.
Sharing different experiences since we're from different years and batches.
Sigh.
Company has its' politics.
Uni also will have politics.
It's just that, we ignore. =x
a hp shot of the wall of the garden of Lai Meng Chinese School
a slanting pic of the bricks wall. =)
I like this natural appearance. ^^

Monday, November 3

the balancer- Day 6

This is the item which i learned to make on the first day of my internship.
It is a repetitive activity whenever we head to different schools everyday.
Children are so easy to be coaxed. =)
Innocent. Happy. Cheerful. Contented.
And noisy. I still can't stand them. =X

The trainer was explaining a non-scientific theory behind this balancer and it made me pondered a while. He said, in life, a balance is very important.

If u wanna get an "A" (the pattern of the balancer), u need to work hard and study smart and all those study craps lar... but if u lose a white eraser (bottom of the balancer), u may end up having an "E" (an unbalance shape of the balancer), therefore, balance is vital. He put in examples of life and made me think. I wonder the kids know these life theories or not because i guess adults can't seem to get this right too. Nonetheless, his words really impressed me. =)

We need to live and stay in an equilibrium.
Balancer is an important object. =)

Saturday, November 1

Day 5-special

How time flies.
It's been 5 consecutive days for us to work. XD
Half day of work today~!
We went to one of the schools in Kajang.
Apart from all those routine work and teaching, dealing with students, we, the UCSI x6 always love to plan for meals, where and what to eat.
Thus, we had planned to savour some Kajang Satay for today!
Huiru didn't get to makan with us due to emergency leave. S I G H.
"It's ok, we saved u some pics!" =D

Here are some highlights of our expedition of satay!
Various of meat today! Burp*
the top left plate: duck, mutton and fish
the bottom left plate: chicken and beef
the one on the stove, i donno. Hehe! Jz a random shot.
5 of us. SokeLing, Kwang, ShueLing, me and Hon Chin
Restoran Malaysia.
Boss said it's very famous in Kajang.
There'll be traffic jam at night in the shop.
i find this charcoal really interesting!
It's like a big fat log compare to the normal one~
Uncle diligently fanning and flipping the satays.
i guess he's a chinese but relatively dark skinned.
A hot burning afternoon.
Dilute the heat with coconut drink is the best solution~
Ordered by SL and HC.
I had 100 plus~
