today.. we had a very special session with our psychology lecturer, Mr.James... he's very pro in the topics of meditation and hypnosis. At first.. i was very curious and excited about it when Ms Norul mentioned to us... therefore.. i was kinda looking forward to have this session with him. And guess what?? we're totally the greeks to this...what da... weeeeee..ee.e.....

these are the types of meditation:
-mantra
-music
-mandala
-motion
-mala beads
-mental imagery
ya.. all the M words... =)
so.. we had a silent moment with mr james... to do our so-called meditation... well.. it did work for me.. i felt very much better than the previous moment... at least.. it's like... peacefulness sinking in my heart... felt very comfortable. And he asked us to meditate the word, meaning.. repeating the words--->"may i be well and happy".... this is a mantra way of meditation.. then later on.. repeat it for ur loved ones.."may xxx be well and happy".. that xxx can be ur enemy, friends and family. Haha! very extreme rite? ^^ sounded silly yet meaningful... well.. he pointed out some good point of views.. saying that... a person should focus on the present.. neither the past nor the future...
As for hypnosis.. it's an altered state of consciousness in which the individual is highly relaxed and susceptible to suggestion. Hmmm... profound... i don't even really understand that.. whahahah! but then... most importantly, hypnosis isn't what we always watch in the drama shows.. AND we can actually control ourself instead of being controlled by hypnotist. Haha! YES or NO is all depended on us. :) weeeee.e..e..... then.. we had another experiment again... wah.. this feeling is absolutely unexplainable.. macam tertidur like tat... it took us for quite long too. ^^ it's fun! :)
