once again...

24 April, Friday.
Continued from our discussion last night during the bbq, we planned to have a half-day economical trip to Kuala Selangor. Once again, i stepped onto this faraway land with another bunch of friends.
This time round, it was slightly different from previous trip because we stopped by more places for shooting and went to other places in Bukit Malawati. Moreover, we also went to Nature Park and Taman Ikan Tawar. Thanks to both chauffeurs, Nick and Ray.
**************************************************
our first group photo upon arrival.
this is the place where kerhuey was frightened by wild monkeys.
hohohoho!
now, you know how many monkeys were there...
my bulu also stood up to see those monkeys around that area...
i guess these were only 10% of the whole hill.
the girls' troupe.
Nature Park
Guess i don't have to tell you how hot was the weather right?
found some shady places
though it was hot, but there was still breezing wind
walking around to enjoy the nature view which we hardly had a chance to do so.
In the midst of the walk, took some 38 photos.
* i guess we saw UFO*
and Heppy (left with red shirt) saw a mosquito. Hohoho!
people pointed there, we pointed YOU!
Taman Ikan Air Tawar
swampy places, aquarium, exhibition mini hall
colourful mural painted
some kinda fishing equipment
cruising to Bukit Malawati nearby, stopped by places by places of the hill
found a bridge!
connected the hill to another side of the land
well constructed landscape
left some footprints on the bridge
up the hill
again, i took this v-shaped trunk of the dead tree
the sky was like painted by water colour in blue
can you see the tone of it...
again, the light house
this time round, this pic was relatively well taken than previous
how we wished to take a group pic with the whole view
but... it was tooooooo hot until we couldn't open our eyes.
instead, we took our shadow.
bought two ice cream but dropped one.
2-1 = 1
sad and silly Nick. haha!

love to nature

After that, food accompanied by sunset.

NICE!

LOVE IT!
Flying kite after that...
purple'ish blue sky seen with my naked eyes

Regain freedom!

23 April, Thursday
Stress free night kickoff'ed by bbq and steamboat at Sestnee's palace right after last paper and evening orientation meeting. Had "psycho-gathering" as late as 9pm made everyone lethargic and hungry but looking forward.

It's been long since everyone met up together and makan makan leisurely. We won't have any more extra time for such gathering because most of them are heading to internship and they will no longer be in ucsi. @_@" *particially graduated*

100th Day- His Day

21 April, marked the 100th day of my grandpa's departure according to chinese calender. This time, i made myself to stay back for his prayer ceremony. I feel, it's my duty to stay as the eldest cousin gang in my family.
well constructed grave tomb. healthy grass.
everything is wonderful.
The whole ceremony took almost whole day 8.00am-3pm. Woke up at 6am and drove to Kulai back and forth. @_@" I was so horrified because as the clock ticked, my brain was filled with my notes and books due to exam stress. @_@"
grandpa has a new piano wall! so nice :)
Thought of that day.
The priest commented on some chinese custom, which i felt, quite unagreeable but i kept my mouth shut. He mentioned that praying is the only reason for all the generations to gather altogether. I feel, his comment is very very saddening... big sigh...
1. why would you need to wait under such circumstance only can be united?
2. why would you only care when people had left?
3. won't you feel regret if you missed out the most important tie with your kins?
All these questions had been wondering around my mind lately. We need to do something about it. We need to change and shall make a start. Don't be regretful on what we'd done. I would never made such comment to my next generation to let them hear about such opinions.
there were lil "flags" around the grave...
which made me had a thought on national day. Haha! ;) colourful.
We need to educate them to respect/love/care to the elderly and most importantly, to earn money in a correct way, neither by gambling nor even praying for numbers from the death. Despicable and ugly act.

Walk with us, grandpa.

commercial break

Can't believe i could actually halal from online and blogging for almost a week! =)
Coming up...!
Full coverage of my sardine-packed week will be up soon! :)
Stay tuned!

Sunday, April 19

right now...

My life has been overwhelming by many circumstances.
At times, i feel breathless.
I do not know how to choose.

I am lucky.
I do not want anything to slip away.
I wish to have it.
I yet to grab it.

Life is all about decision making.
The ability to choose, it's always within our control.

What i can say is,
i am blessed to be in this family.
for the best of me in everything.

i thank you
for all the best thing i have.

i pray
for receiving the good, the better and the best

i pray
for my family members for their good intentions in me.

Shan Na is grateful for everything.
Really.

Family Day =D

A beautiful Saturday was spent with my family in Batu Pahat.
Thanks Daddy for taking a half day leave for us. =D
We really appreciate it.
Mum's bday is around the corner, thus we had a lil makan outing. =x
*bloated stomach is looking at me*
Pictures are here! =D

My parents love coffee.
Thus we headed for a hightea upon our arrival.
The Rengit Coffee Shop.
ooo... their ice mocha! Superb! :)
As for the food, not bad too... =)

Sis ordered this crepe. Didn't taste it. Hehe.
Well presented.

Photocopied number 1

Photocopied number 2
in the midst of the trip, we camwhored for a few shots.
the lookalike contest.
How many % of our similarity?

Out of the shopping mall.
This is the sunset i got to see. =)
Then, we headed to the riverside steamboat place. =)
A very nostalgic place i would say because parents used to bring us here since we were small. The routine is always the same.
Eat fruits right after steamboat! This is the place.
They serve according to the dishes.
The quality of the food is much more better. =)
Hot piping steamboat right in front of us under steamy weather.
All of us ended up sweating like bulls.
4 bulls of the tables were craving for it.
Up next! Fruits!
Dad said our makan routine is forever like a classroom schedule.
After steamboat then makan fruits!
Can you see she's sweating? -.-"
Eating atap-zi~ =="
I have to keep on repeating to myself that.
EXAM IS ON NEXT THURSDAY!
WAKE UP! =="
Back to books & notes... *sigh*
