Changeling

I had a lazy weekend. More or less a potato couch. Got my eyes sticked to the screen for a day with two great movies. "Beverly Hill Chihuahua" and "Changeling" while munching potato chips. =x *fatty*

Well, I would say BHChihuahua is just an entertainment movie for me. Hehe. It was light hearted and i smiled after the movie. =) It was sweet enough.

As for Changeling... seriously, it's a thumb's up movie for me!! =D It brought me upon a conservative realm of women back in the olden days. Though it happened in United State, but i believe, somehow, this culture did exist in Asian. =x Discrimination against women was so strong. I m relieved that, now, at least, it is gradually fading away and equality exists between both sexes.

Oh my... Angelina Jolie's acting skills were so wonderful. It's indeed a touching true story though it's kinda hard for me to digest initially. Haha. Dad said it was horrified. -_-" coz of the hanging head scene. Sweat. A mother, is always a mother, to fight everything for a child. Can't believe that corruption was so terrible back then. Police have anything they say. Women were placed into asylum if they against police force while men were shot. Sigh.

There's always a miracle. There's always someone who wants to stand up for everything. Good man does exist too. I really salute that woman, named Christine Collins, starring Angelina Jolie in Changeling. Well, that's how a country develop, i assume? Go catch Changeling if you haven't watched it. ^^"

I know i am a bit outdated with movies. haha. =) Good things are never too late right? I wanna watch Bride Wars. ='(
