Day 1

As planned, I've flew to Taiwan to visit my auntie & uncle~ =)) and yes, it was a lonely journey because i was the one and only. No one took picture for me and no one to laugh to, how i wished my family or my friends were with me to share those happy moments. Nonetheless, i am surviving!!! =DD *survivor!* -.-

it's been some times since i held my own passport. O_O"

adrenaline rush as i saw the big plane and i knew this is not gonna be the last time because i was so excited when i saw it! =D I guess this was the effect for not being excited before my trip after a long winding report'ing few days back. The excitement only came in when i saw the plane! It's like "Okayyyy... i am SO GOING!" Heheh! *wink*

and so, the plane took off and oh my, i am deeply in love with Malaysia. Check out the greenery, the terrain, the river, the roads. Oh my god. *i think i am a bit exaggerated but i love our mother nature and my country!*

so indulged with the clouds. =DD

soaring from above! =D

h.e.a.v.e.n.l.y. i think i met god.

safely touched down and 1/2 hour early than expected. thank you uncle for picking me out and shouting my name. =_=

We took HSR (High Speed Rail) from Tao Yuan to Taichung. It was quite similar with Japan's bullet train. Stable, fast, clean, disciplined, with friendly attendants. I guess there's a room for improvement for our country's, especially KTM and customer service.

just 2 stations away but it took us 40 mins to reach by HSR or 2 hours to reach by bus. Choose one. Bet u won't pick the latter.

bigger than i thought. better than Air Asia. O_O"

saw many many paddy fields along the way by HSR. =) The paddy was literally waving. A sudden thought of Jay Chou's 稻香song. Haha!

Aunty brought me to visit her neighbour cum classmate. The condo was so big but to my dismay, the parents allow their kids to draw on the wall! I mean, the WHOLE house's WALL!!!! I felt so happy for the kids. I mean, really feel this girl is blessed by having such parents for her to express her talent/ feeling. =D Don't you think it's gonna be a memorable wall as time goes by? Like...How long my girl has grown... She learns a lot of artistic classes and she was so bubbly. =D She's Annie. =)

Feng Jia (逢甲)Night Market was my first stop in Taichung, to dig in some good food, dessert and to wander around the streets (with so many neon lights). A bit pening kepala. It is located at the heart of Taichung and it's the 2nd largest night market in Taiwan. There were a lot of students around because there is Feng Chia University. =D

the shoplots and the big streets. O_O" many vehicles but human are always bigger than the vehicles on the road because they walk like nobody business...

One thing i really salute about Taiwan is their rubbish recycling system. Imagine a Pasar Malam, with attendants for rubbish and they THANK you for throwing rubbish. *Hormat!*

my Day 1 Food of the Day: The Charcoal Black Pepper... biscuits? ANYWAY... it's yummy! =D

The ingredients inside were hot juicy meat + spring onions. The sesame blended in just so perfectly with the dough. SUPER YUMMY!! and it needs 8 minutes to stay in the charcoal bin before it is ready.

this 卤味 is funny. The shop is called 大卤桶 (big pot braised pig organs). i was only focusing on the close up wait till aunty told me and pointed to the pot... see? this is why they named it as "big pot" =_=
This is for you, Steph. =D Haha! Coz u said u love potatos. =D this stall sells baked chessy potatos with a lot a lot of ingredients in it for u to choose from. =)

we ordered this fresh mushroom flavour. VERY NICE. =) The mushroom tasted too fresh. Spongy! =D The cheese was perfect and the potato was steamy hot... it's too filling eventhough we shared.

Baju for dog dog! =D even more pricey than human's clothing. =.=

this lovely lady just in time for me to shoot her and she looked at my lens for a long time. hehe! photogenic she is! =D fry spaghetti with bread! both aku pun suka! tapi... perut sudah kenyang! =D I will go back to the market few days later to try this out. MUST. =) I've sworn. Haha! Will take a few shots of it then. Before we left, Aunt brought me to this shop where they sell steam cakes. =) Very delight indeed. the cake... erm.. has yet tasted, will be my breakfast tomorrow. =) weeeeeeeeee!

p/s: to my surprise, the food tasted evenly nice, as it's neither too salty nor sweet, rather, it was just nice, tasted slightly lighter than M'sia's..

toodles peeps! =)

Tong Hai University tomorrow and more shops and streets of Taichung
