There're four brown sofa chairs, two round mini marble tables.
A peaceful Saturday night.
A lil corner, sitting by a family.
So, there's this pair of parents...
lying down on the sofa of Old Town,
both hands were holding with their iPhone and a Nokia E phone.
Eyes were sticking on their phone screens.
So much as though it was all glued.
Surfing net I supposed.
Sitting opposite of them, was a lil boy.
Quite a handsome musketeer. =D
I bet he was their son. Guess he's only about 6-7?
And he was apparently using his dad's MacBook.
Yes. You heard me. It's a white glossish Macbook.
Logging into Facebook.
with his small lil fingers, he logged in.
typed the email add and password i guess.
They were all so into technology.
Sufficiently utilised the Wi-Fi service 2mpbs provided by Old Town.
Without communication.
The boy even wanted to show the game to his mummy.
His mummy was so busy with her own phone.
He pushed the notebook towards his mum, and later pulled it back.
Aquarium was the game, i remembered.
Out of the sudden, a glass of water poured over the table.
Dad was so busy, to firstly grab his MacBook away from his son.
Son, worried. Stared at the whole situation.
Pulling out pieces and pieces of tissues from the box.
Wanted to give to his parents to wipe the notebook.
I guess this is the most he could do, with his age.
To my dismay, his mum pushed him away.
All he could do, was to stare at his parents.
After a while,
the hassle was gone.
Mummy held her son.
Boy felt lost.
Dad, continued to live in his own world- iPhone.
I witnessed the whole story, with my own eyes.
Nor i made up this story, neither was my intentional act of observing.
The whole picture, caused my heart to be a sore one.
It was saddening.
It was heart-wrenching.
At that moment, I swore to myself, to love my child even more in the future.
Though the boy was held eventually, but the first intention of the parents, was to save the darn notebook. What was the worth of their son?
You're rich, but you're not wealthy in love.
I feel sorry for the kid, really... really sorry.
I am ashamed for the parents. Like really.
