Saturday, a weekend to be looking forward to! :) We headed to Malacca. Supposed to be a trio trip but it the end, somebody decided to ffk us. =X Haha! Ok, enough of the complaints. I've been mumbling to KS for her ffk'ness. =) It was quite a hot Saturday. Oh well, never had i been to Melaka that rains. So, yea.
This time round was slightly extraordinary. We went to Crocodile Farm. Haha! =) It's was such a looooooong time that i nv been there. =) Reminded a lot of my family that brought us there to touch the baby crocs. :) A scary but a memorable one. As of now, the crocs in the farm were a lil bit laid back. Still got quite a lot of species. However, the farm wasn't really well maintained. Felt kinda wasted the entrance fee. Luckily we still managed to see the feeding process. Not that bad afterall. =)
Croc Farm! =) |
Greedy croc! Already so full still caught a chicken in his mouth! |
Didn't know croc is really actually her best friend. She loves reptiles. Ewwww. =X
Later, we moved on to Jonker Street. Hehe! The best place in Malacca that you cannot be missed! =) Stomach was growling very loudly. It's time to dig in! :) Chicken rice ball as our first stop! =) Tender oily chicken, veggie and rice! What's more, with the chili sauce! Heavenly! =)
I don't wanna tell you how delicious was this. =)
Then we continue with shopping and walking around Jonker Street. It's really nice to walk in Jonker. Everytime you get to see new stuff! Like this pic down here. It's fruit tea! =) From far, the colourful bottle already made my eyes glued onto its picturesque feature. So, i bought one and had many many sips of refreshing fruit tea under the hot weather! :) Nice one! Should try if you happen to see one. =)
Inside one of the souvenir shops.
I think this was the best surprise from Jonker Street. No wonder people always say, without expectation, there's always surprises! :) Totally agree! This is durian puff. Never thought it was a cold dessert. The first bite shocked both of us and we "wahhh" at the same time! So hilarious. The durian paste was just nice, it wasn't too sweet! Yay! Love it! It's the food of the day! =)
Hmmm... then we continued to blow bubbles while walking at Bukit St. Paul. =) From the top, you get to see a lot of happenings down right at the street. :) There were people doing art performances. Tourists were so busy taking photos. (I'm one of them). =D
A' Famosa :)
Christ Church Malacca :) beautiful
We've been walking for almost the whole day in Melaka. :) Nyonya dinner concluded our trip. Hehe! 6 dishes in one go! Woooot! :)) It's a good try! :)
Melaka is always a good state if you wanna do a lot of visitiations, a lot of exercises, a lot of makan places, a lot of histories reflection. :) I still love Melaka a lot. :) It was a great trip! =) Sengkius!
