friday =)

Today had been an eventful and fulfilling day.
As i stepped into 2nd floor, i saw many students were waiting.
In a glance, i thought they were waiting for class.
To my dismay, they were waiting to join Psych Club's meeting!
Amazed. In shocked.
Telling myself, "Are they really joining?"
Haha!
A flash of thought. "We really made it."
Thank you everyone. I am proud to be in this family.
Hope we can improve one step further to pioneer the club.

Next.
Cross-cultural Psychology Forum.
Professors from Deikin Uni of Australia came down for a session.
Mental health was analytically discussed.
It would be even better if Psych Department can organise a Public Mental Health Campaign out of UCSI. I think it'll be really beneficial to the public, just like Pharmacy Association's Public Health Campaign. The awareness of mental health disorder is very low in our country due to social stigma. If you are suffering from depression, people will presume that you are cuckoo. I think our club shall propose it someday though i know it's not going to our turn to do it, but the initiation is always crucial for the journey to begin. =)

Later the day.
Met up with UCSIx7 today for lil yumcha session. Too bad SL and KF couldn't make it. =X It's been a while since our last meeting. Still, we had lots to talk. @_@" Endless laugters, topics to share with. I enjoyed the presence. Looking forward to our next n-day session again. Haha! ^^

Thought of the day:
Sometimes, verbal communication is always so imperative. A word can bring such an impact on a person. Never doubt one's ability. Your words can be hurtful to others. Be empathetic. How would you feel if someone said something that you don't favour? Let's think about it. Be constructive, be wise. We are learning from each other, not pulling down. :)
