Day 3

So, today we're finally out of Taichung and boarded public transportations (taxi, High Speed Rail, local train, MRT) to step on Taipei and other favourite tourism spots in Taiwan for 4 days 3 nights. Travelling indeed need a lot of energy. Having 4-5 hours sleep per day wasn't that sufficient and productive for a whole day tour. Was having hard time to pack and repack our luggage at home because we gonna stay in a few places here and there. Right now, I am here in Hualian (East Coast of Taiwan) and tomorrow gonna check out Taroko National Park *excited*. This whole morning, we were in Taipei for free and easy just to pass our time before boarded the express train to Hualian. Again, I never ever felt the call of hunger. =_= Well, it's all about eating in Taiwan. O_O" Let the pictures scroll.
We were out to bus stop nearby aunt's place in Taichung before 7am.
This digital board showed the countdown timer for the next bus.
According to uncle, it's counted by the GPS in each bus. O_O"
My Day 3 breakfast from MOS Burger. =)
It's a chain restaurant in Taiwan and Japan.
MOS Burger is situated in every High Speed Rail Station of Taiwan. Heading to the North! =D
First stop of the Day: Taipei Zoo.
The entrance board.
It was a sunny morning. HAWT.
Well, i would say the zoo was just okay. It's good to see the animals but most of the animals were on "MC" this morning. =.=" Hardly saw all the animals but only their habitat. -.- Nonetheless, i met my long lost friend, PANDA! =D The China heritage! "Tuan Tuan Yuan Yuan".

A few animals shots. =)
this reminded me of Tanz. =D The genuine pigs and rabbits make good friends at home! =D
Lazy Koala Bear. =D Well, it was moving during that time. =D I wanna hold it. =(
When can i go to Australia? =(
MY FRIEND! Haha!
Uncle said it's forever my good friend. -.-
Yuan yuan is the name.
This is Tuan Tuan. =D
Boarded on the shuttle bus. =D
With lots of kids around. Super noisy but cute! =D
Amphibian & Reptile Exhibition Hall. Super geli. =.=
This is called the "Starry Tortoise". Check out its' shell. =D
Lovely flowers that made my day! =)
Penguins! =D fatty fatty! =D
I lurve this picture!
Maple trees.
There are lots of maple trees in Taiwan. This is American Wild Cow. Superly lazy, furry and huge.
Wonder how this beef tasted like. LOL.
Ok. Enough of Zoo and animals.
So headed to Xi Men Ding for craving some delicacies.
Ah-Zhong Mian Xian. =D
YUMMY!
Such a big pot
It just won't attract you with such a texture until you tasted it. I had this!
Tasted a few sip with original flavour, then added some homemade chili sauce, mixed into it. It was salivary! *such word?* hehe!
It's best to visit Xi Men Ding at night with its night view.
Guess will go back there again at night with my cousin on Saturday maybe.
Had this Taiwan style roti canai. Haha! =)
Nice! It's actually Spring Onion Flour.
A very nostalgic building of Starbucks.
This pic is for Ruru and Ray. hehe! =D
Street.
I met CARMEN KHO, my psychology junior from UCSI at Xi Men Ding!!!!!!
Shocked me and her! Hahahahahaah!
Aunt and I had won 2 ice-cream one day coupon when we were shopping in Xi Men Ding. However, we were too full for it. So, we decided to give up. =X
Right after Xi Men Ding, we were supposed to board on the Express Train to Hualian. Aunt suggested we try out their local Train Station Bento when we board on the train as a "pre dinner" before heading to Hualian. =D
Do i look like a waitress? =___="
I thought i do.
This bento costs about RM 10. =X but it was delicious.
Thought it's cold but when i held it, it was actually warm still. =)
These are the pass to Hualian with its tourism spots.
Aunt bought it from travel agency.
After checking in the hotel, we continue to hunt for good at Hualian.
First stop, we had "bian shi" whereby we, Msian, known it as "wantan".
=______+This shop is a historical wantan shop in Hualian.
It actually branches out by the siblings at different areas.
The soup was light and watery. -.-" Of course.
Not really oily.
Wantan was just ok for me, but the meat inside was tender.
Then we walked along the street.
Saw lots of muachi. =D
Uncle brought us to this restaurant which serves fish. O_O"
San Guo Yi.
According to him, the fish nv swam in a correct movement, it swims 90 degree terbalik in the water one.
This is the juice. Processed with some fruits and the FISH.
Omg. It wasn't that fishy though. There's some sort of aloe vera inside which i thought it was aloe vera, but in fact, it was some sort of gel from the fish. @___@"
RM12 per cup. =/
This is the favourite dish from restaurant.
Healthy dish i supposed.
Makes the purse unhealthy coz this plate of fish costs rm55.
O.o"
This is the dessert,
Birdnest + fish.
=____="
If u're a fish lover, no harm to try this out, if not, i will surely stay away from this pricey place which costed us a bomb. Hehe!
************************************
Hualian is also well known of 1 hour dancing performance from Ah Mei tribe of Taiwan. Well, i guess it's not the singer A-Mei's tribe. Hehe! Their performances were superb and the atmosphere was great. And btw, we felt the earthquake during that time. Scared me. Hehe!
After 1/2 hour, we continue to our last stop, 24 hours PAO Zi Dian.
Yum!
The xiao long bao is totally different from what I had before. The pao skin was spongy! me like the skin! =D Well, i thought the meat was slightly salty.
the buns!
It was definately a tiring day today after so much of travelling, eating and walking.
The leg muscles are pumping right now.
Lots of photos from Xi Men Ding and the food were with my aunt's cam. We had more food than what i've shown at the above. =/
Will upload it again.
It's gonna be another fruitful day tomorrow with the walk of nature in HuaLian Taroko National Park. Kinda excited to leave my footprints on the ground. =)
Take care, peeps!
Nights.
