2008- finale.

Lectures of the Year 2008 had come to the end today (Thursday) at 6.30pm. Mixed feeling. I would say this year is the most challenging, most self-fulfilling year after being here for so long. Had tonnes of activities, assignments, and quizzes which had improved ourselves thoroughly. From every class and every activity, i indeed learned something each day. At least i know that i am not alone while enjoying and going through all these. I am with a bunch of psychology family together, to feel the sense of belonging, and to smell the joy and fun in UCSI. =) Thank you everyone who was and is with me along the way. From the bottom of my heart, i thank you. =)
Of course, new friends met. Most importantly, new club and new division were formed! AND! A revamp on our Psychology Department's service towards students' welfare and each subject and lecturer evaluation was a good attempt by the Head of Department and student representative. We're improving steps by steps. I am proud to be in this family. =) Moreover, involvement in students' activities had helped me to make a lil difference in my uni life. =D
Browsing through all the pics, i would say, we indeed learned a lot practically, whereby academic achievement was not solely on books, handouts and notes. We learned to be more humanitarian. We learned how to raise for charity, to work with each other (no matter with the evils or angels), technical skills such as environment setting, event planning, video making and what not. It is just so human. They seemed to be out of our field somehow but in the end, we knew the reason behind all these hard work. As Ms. V said, "Psychology is everything. Everything is about Psychology." True enough.
Most importantly, we had good lecturers along the way who stimulated our critical thinking with endless philosophic questions which had never came across in my mind. Brain dead after following few lecturers' journeys, such as Mr. Shankar, Mr. James and Ms. V. Normal paced lecturers also had soothed our journey in 2008. Thanks Ms. Norul and Ms. Daisy. I guess my IQ and EQ were gradually improving with all of their teaching.
All in all, I am feeling good for Year 2008. Academically, co-curricular activities, assignments' activities and so on. Though there's always ups and downs, but, they were the one which made us sail further in the sea of uni life. =)

Healthy

I want to lead a healthy life.
I want a healthy environment.

I feel i am so unhealthy.
How?

The knowledge of Health Psychology and Physiological Psychology didn't seem to help much nor did they bring any impact on our daily lives.

How?
Are we stubborn? Or what? =x

Haha! =)

I am longed for holiday. =(

maslow's hierarchy of needs

Human has needs and wants.
This theory was derived by Abraham Maslow, an American Psychologist.

Self-actualization will be achieved in the peak of our life whereby you are perceived just like a God to yourself and others. Well, of course i'm not into this state yet. Those grandpa-grandma era will have a chance to achieve it somehow. =)

For me, i prefer to derive my self-actualization theory in my fantasy.
Whereby, letting go and accepting people are the keys towards actualisation.
It's more important than one's esteem and ego.

It's hard.
People, please try. =)
If you achieve it, congratulations!
You're on your way towards actualisation! ^^

I'm the post-granddaughter of Maslow. *LOL*
i donno what i've crapped! =_="

before bed...

In the midst of completing assignment , i am still able to stare at blogger.com with my both eyes opened. Feeling tired physically but not mentally because right now, i am not really tired although the clock almost strikes 3am. I wonder why. Maybe is the effect of tea. Apparently, i didn't purposely drink it just to stay up late. This evening, i had bak ku teh with family and drank chinese tea. I guess, they brought impact to me.
Anyway, had been juggling with Psychological Testing and Assessment assignment for few weeks. SPSS drives me nuts. =( Gosh. My brain is entangled with numbers, scores and symbols. It wasn't fun but it was challenging. Especially completing this sub in short sem. COOL! @_@" and......Final exam is just around the corner. =N E X T!=
As usual, reading through my friends' blogs before going off for bed. This habit is so addictive. Haha! It's just like the essense of every day life. Anyway, just a few words to sum up. Well, sometimes, I wonder why we put so much blame on other party? It takes two hands to clap. If you were a good/best friend of someone else's, you will always wish her/him luck and give the best for him/her. Do not judge friendship merely by the presence of someone. It is just so unfair. Hate to see my friend being down. Or shall i say... getting the blame? Hmmmm.... to me, it is just annoying... What is your measurement in friendship? I want your definition and justification. Thank you.
Oh no... my writing is so random recently... i really have to phrase it nicely with an improved English. Haha. =)
Nights.

just a doodle...

Lately, i've been probing myself with unfinished questions in mind. There are all open ended questions. Haha! Too much of research thingy studied...
Why do i care of people say and think? I am just a normal person who was borned and am living my life well and good. Sometimes, i guess i am overdosed with lil stressors. I can't fulfil everyone around me and i know that i should have tried my best. There's always limitation within oneself. I keep on telling myself don't take ppl for granted, especially towards good friends for whom you thought you know best. And i am really sorry for those i can't always accompany. I wanted to but i didn't get the chance so.
Sometimes, whether or not it is intentional or unintentional word, i do feel something. Assuming myself sensitive? Yes, i guess i am. =) Good? Bad? I was labeled as insensitive by my friends before. Now, i guess i am no longer in that category. If i were to lead myself a happy day, i WILL make it a success without fail. However, evil and angel are still debating. Inconfirmity isn't bad somehow. Angry is not a sin.
It is always the culture which restrain people to do something.
Please show a hand for those who agrees with the statement above.
Maybe we should break the norm, create a storm? ^^
What am i crapping?
The more i study, the more questions i have in mind.
Again, psychology makes me think.
No, i guess, it was Ms.V who made me think. =) Thank you.
No wonder she's teaching philosophy. =X
Just a random post of mine. Nothing much severe and serious. =)

Happy Birthday, Chew! ^^

Being the youngest always has the advantage as the family baby and being pampered.. Haha~ The custom goes the same way in my family here in KL... we "pampered" the youngest.

Today... erm... i mean...yesterday supposed was Chew's bday. Kekeke~ We surprised her with a non conventional midnight celebration. Everyone acted and was busy as usual. Nothing happened up until the next evening. I guess she was kinda disappointed which made us happie! *wink* Aiyarrr... surprise mah... sorry loh... haha! ^^
all of us! ^^

During the evening, people in house began to be the bumble bees. Heading to bakery to buy Swiss Rolls, yeap... the unique birthday cake. Making cards, writing wishes, preparing the props (party spray), asking her friends to pakat with us. Well, everything went on smoothly. Hehe.

Swiss roll presentation! ^^ Adequately done! Birthday card aka board. =)
Entered the house without any anticipation... opened the door... AHHHH! It's party time! Initiated with party spray by Kwang.

Attacked!

Shunning away.

Wearing the paper crown as the big queen of the day, eh-hem... only the day.

Haha! ^^ As usual, photo sessions with friends and family...

Making tonnes of wishes until we also wanna sleep...zzz...

sF-.rX-.sN-

It was a fine Saturday morning. Woke up with the perfect happy mood despite of only having a few hours of sleep coz i was going to meet up with sf and rx! =) The weather was cooling, with a lil amount of sunshine plus the shady grey blue sky. It was drizzling on and off today but the mood was still high. =D
Going to gv rX a lil surprise be-earlied bday celebration though her bday falls on the 17oct. We could hardly meet up again during her big day. So... yea... had a great time... basically, it was all about chit chatting and updating each others randomly. ^^ Later, we surprised her with the 2 cutie cakes set. Proud to say that it was my idea. Haha! coz i really loved it! Sweet and simple. =) Okiee... i admit that i'm being thick-skinned here but hey, it's been ages since we had this kinda fine-tuned celebration. :) Had 2nd round at Bevy Cafe with fabulous cheese cake, brownies and drinks. As usual, took tonnes of photos. -_-" Then, my house was the pit stop of today. Sayonara!
It was great. Simple yet memorable. =) Love you gurls! ^^

Great!

Read the papers yesterday. Got to know that blogging does heal human psychologically. Believe it or not, the researchers have been diligently conducting researches after researches when blogging became a hot topic in two years back...
The study has found out that, blogging can heal patients. Why? How? I was so curious last night when i saw the big slanting title on the paper. People write out how they feel, what is going on in their lives, etc. It applies to patients. Once they pour out everything, let it be +ve or -ve events, they will feel better mentally and emotionally. Thus, their sicknesses will recover sooner than we thought.
Doctors also mentioned that blogging does not treat the illnesses directly but it can only heal the psychological well being of a patient. Therefore, doctors encourage but not force people, to blog. If you were to blog just to get heal, i'm sorry, you'll feel even more terrible because you're under pressure to puke everything out of your mind just for the sake of blogging.
It's great to hear that blogging IS an advantage in our lives. The significant level may look negligible but it brings a long term effect on everyone. We should look at the good side of it rather than perceiving or treating blogging as a medium of verbal war or pasar...
Do try up this habit :)

do you have it?

Was browsing through a few bloggers' words...
Realised that human do have dream and aim...
An aimful and eventful life will forever to be remembered.
As for me, i do have dream.
However, i am someone who's afraid to dream...
Am i down to earth? No... i don't think so.
I am just afraid that it is unreachable.
Or maybe i am just a perfect coward. Haha. =D
Therefore, i am putting my dream into pieces...
Sorting them one by one as time goes by...
At the same time, i wonder.
If you were to dream that humungously, do you walk the talk?
Or... people just merely talk the walk?
It seems so vague and ambiguous to me.
Right to dream? Dream to be right?
Here i am, hoping all of us, who have or have not dreamed...
ALL THE BEST with my fullest blessing! :)

Leaders' Camp Day 2

Part 1
Waking up as early as 5.30am was a tough task for faci. Morever, yours trully only got an hour of sleep due to insomnia. @_@" Oh ya? Insomnia didn't pull me down and it made me more energetic in the end. ==" However, batteries flat after balik rumah. Anyway~ Had morning exercise, leading by cutie Heppy. He was kinda funny with all those sissy movements. I thought he handled it well. Haha! =) Looking at the pics and video of ppl exercised really make me burst into laughters. =D *muahaha*
body streching
it looked like in the middle of the night.
jogging to the public park square to have more aerobic movements!
Taken this while people were busy tucking in the breakfast.
Next, breakfast... lalala... bathing and resting time! Followed by, club's pressie/reps' presentation on their mission and vision of the club as well as planning the event of Year 2009. Event planner sheets were distributed. Basically, at this round, they were simply just need to spell out all the activities that they planned so that they could fill up the calender of student council's activities schedule.

After that 2 hours of presentation cum meeting, we had another round of reflection session to wrap up the whole camp. =) Everyone sat in a big circle and shared whatever they felt was right and wrong. As usual, there were more positive than negative comments. Luckily, we asked them to write in a piece of papers. Haha! You know, students are always reluctant to tell out loud. =x
Had our first and final lunch and departed at 1pm.

another longest, loudest and craziest yumseng round with everyone in the hall!

finally, we were opted for a fine and relax group pic!

Part 2
Surprise trip to Melaka downtown!
To hike up the atmosphere of the camp and to fulfil participants' wishes, we went to Melaka! Melaka is a historical and picturesque state with all sort of old shops, riversides, churches, St. Paul's Hill, assortment of trishaws, tourists and tourists and more tourists. -_-" Visiting Melaka with the team was really a new experience for me. =) I had fun! Most importantly, i gotta taste the durian chendol again! Omg! It's still so fabulous! =) Sigh. But still, Melaka is forever that HOT! Omg. Lastly, we said sayonara to Melaka around 4pm and headed back to KL.
