a historical session...

This will be a photolog.
Malacca is forever a picturesque city.
Brilliant.
My first picture of the day as I stepped onto the land of Malacca.
Chinese New Year ambience was still there. =)

chicken rice ball restaurant. tanglung is everywhere.

A very spooky but greenish alley. It's in Cheng Ho Cultural Muzium. The muzium comprised eight shoplots altogether.

famous chinese temple in Malacca which survived more than a century.

lotus candle lights for prayer purposes.

a wishing bell a.k.a. a peace bell. imported from China. Also, located in Cheng Ho Cultural Muzium. There's also a counter for tea. Peaceful. Quiet. Refreshing.

the sun was about to set in the evening. Melaka River.

Revolving Observation Tower that brought the whole Malacca map into your eyes.

Pirate ship. A muzium in fact.

There was also a "Tanglung and Light Festival" in Malacca recently.

Some night views by Malacca Riverside. Reflection was all across the river.

Jonker Street Night Walk for only the weekends. Food. Folks. Shops. Lanterns. Souvenirs. Cultural Performances.

more coverages on the trip later...

friday =)

Today had been an eventful and fulfilling day.
As i stepped into 2nd floor, i saw many students were waiting.
In a glance, i thought they were waiting for class.
To my dismay, they were waiting to join Psych Club's meeting!
Amazed. In shocked.
Telling myself, "Are they really joining?"
Haha!
A flash of thought. "We really made it."
Thank you everyone. I am proud to be in this family.
Hope we can improve one step further to pioneer the club.

Next.
Cross-cultural Psychology Forum.
Professors from Deikin Uni of Australia came down for a session.
Mental health was analytically discussed.
It would be even better if Psych Department can organise a Public Mental Health Campaign out of UCSI. I think it'll be really beneficial to the public, just like Pharmacy Association's Public Health Campaign. The awareness of mental health disorder is very low in our country due to social stigma. If you are suffering from depression, people will presume that you are cuckoo. I think our club shall propose it someday though i know it's not going to our turn to do it, but the initiation is always crucial for the journey to begin. =)

Later the day.
Met up with UCSIx7 today for lil yumcha session. Too bad SL and KF couldn't make it. =X It's been a while since our last meeting. Still, we had lots to talk. @_@" Endless laugters, topics to share with. I enjoyed the presence. Looking forward to our next n-day session again. Haha! ^^

Thought of the day:
Sometimes, verbal communication is always so imperative. A word can bring such an impact on a person. Never doubt one's ability. Your words can be hurtful to others. Be empathetic. How would you feel if someone said something that you don't favour? Let's think about it. Be constructive, be wise. We are learning from each other, not pulling down. :)

now what?

What does my future hold?
Oh my god.

This question has been pestering me lately. By relatives, my parents, friends and myself. Oooooooh... and guess what? I have no idea.

My future is not grey. I just need to think and settle down before i paint another colour of my life. Meanwhile, I need to focus on NOW. Dwell on the past leads to depression, too much of the future leads to anxiety. Focus on NOW can be contented and happier. Or shall i say... running away from the truth?

Well. One step at a time. My sis and I have the same opinion, for this time. Haha! =D What's next? There's no guarantee. Lots of decisions to be made, in which, i've made some of them already. Still, i prefer student life. MUST treasure it for these period of time.

CNY Day 5- sending off

Once again, i stepped into railway station to send off my friend, meiee (not my sister this time). :) She's off to Kelantan. Symbolizes the end of CNY for her parents. Quoted from her daddy. Hehe! :) Kluang Railway is another picturesque place to snap nostalgic photos. ^^ Hope you have a safe journey to the north. =)

feeling inferior to stand beside her. =X
i am so short and plump. -_-"

oh yes. SooYee and I went to the station together. haha!

After MeiEe boarded on the train, we headed to town for a drink. Oooooo... Kluang town was still filled with the ambience of CNY. Red lanterns and neon lights lit up the whole town. That included cars' bulbs. *wink* Met Yunahui and ErShien too! :)

sitting outside of Old Town, we found an angle that we both liked much.

Gardening on Day 4

Yes.
You heard me.
We conducted a gardening session at my grandma's place last morning.
Below is the organizing committee:
President: Aunt Siew Fong
Vice President: me =="
Logistic (carry weeds): Wei Qiang & Wei Le (my counsins)
Members: Woanna, IeChii, JJ, SeePeng, Uncle Yong, me, Aunt SiewFong
Coordinator: Uncle CheeSing
Photography: SeePeng
Before the event started, we had our breakfast at Kluang Railway.
it's early. *yawn*
Grandma took pic with us at this very angle! :)
Our president said, we should take a pic as an opening ceremony. As though we're going for a competition! Haha! :D
It's another special day spending time with my family members. We couldn't have any house visiting sessions, thus, aunt suggested for a gardening for our late grandpa's garden. It's too big to be described. @_@" We had our sun bath too! ==" Took numerous of pics. So, yea, we had a very meaningful morning cum family get-together! Now, the garden is clean and clear! Weeds free! ^^ Grandpa is smiling up the heaven :)
while clearing the weeds.
took a rest. *snap snap!*
let's jump!
wow! they ain't light! -.-"
my grandma's veggie! Now it's free from weeds!
Safe to eat! :) Best for soup cooking!

the baddies.
my lil cousin bro (in the centre) doesn't like to take pics!
We cheated him that we will jump with him together!
However, JJ suggested we should shun away when they jump.
haha! And so, here are the pics!
we RAN!
you JUMPED!

ok lar. We were not that bad afterall. :)

Gathering with the Girls.

Yeap. I met the girls on the 1st day of CNY. That was a mini yumcha session because qh was about to leave to Singapore the next day. =X Squeeze into the massive traffic at night just to snatch over a parking lot. @_@" Kluang's traffic is getting terrible. ==" So many cars. Oh my...

Then, on the 4th day of CNY, I had another reunion dinner with the girls. This time round, i gotta meet people whom i lost contact with for so long. @_@" Haha! How pathetic i am. But what the heck right... it's another new year gathering which we have it only once a year! Swt. ^^ As the president , i am fortunate enough to have soofei to help out and did the follow up when i was in urgency. Thanks to her, the gathering went well. :) Next year, we've elected RuiXue as the president. hahaha! :) Hope we'll have a greater one next year! ^^
Attendees: me, meiee, soofei, ruixue, jootin, yuanhui, sooyee, chinlu, yuanchin, mooping, siewping, & siawlan
VIP: er shien, raymond, and jian guo.
Absentees: qianhong, szeern, meiteng ): hope you gurls can make it next year :)
8 dishes of the night
the punctual one. Haha!
meiteng (white dress girl) was here!
just to say hi. =_="
Add on: chinlu and meiteng
Add on: sooyee & siawlan (both in blue)
Apart from the dinner, we had our 2nd round at a cafe, i donno its' name. XD Also, celebrated January babies' birthdays. Photography accomodated most of our time, rather than chatters. @_@" Next, move on to my house to collect pics. Lastly, mamak session ended our night.

Thank you girls. Hope you enjoyed the night! :)
