Thanks to my cousin, i got to shoot a few more shots for post-convo with some of my family members. Also, apart from family, i had the chance to hangout with my months long-lost friends.

Psych Grad!
Today’s the day. The most thankful day ever throughout the year. A day that I could feel I am so loved by people around me, to share the sense of pride and joy. Today’s also a day of reunion, after 8-9 months of separation and waiting with coursemates, finally, 24 July marked UCSI University’s Convocation Day Class of 2010! The ceremony was held within the campus and it’s the first time that students were being conferred and separated into 2 sessions.
mortar boards in the air! :)
the scroll.
For the past few days, people have been asking about and excited over my convocation but I was numb over it. Emotionless is the word. I thought the feeling wasn’t there but as I paced myself into the hall, on the red carpet, I know I am there, to be conferred as graduate of UCSIU. I didn’t eat much before the ceremony as I lost my appetite (don’t know whether it’s because of excitement or eustress). Haha!
And so my name was called by the announcer. I tried to be lady-like. I really tried. O_O Anyway, the camera flash from the event company was scary. So many lens in front of me as if we’re the super star. Well, maybe we are! Just for that 4 hours. Haha!

we shot some pics with Mei due to different convo-sessions.
my dear ex-housemates whom i missed lots :(
Finally the ceremony was over. The biggest surprise was here to stay! Student Affairs Office colleagues brought out a big banner for me and Bryan. We both were speechless. They never failed to surprise me. What’s more with this big present? I was touched. Really I am, now still while browsing the photos. That moment of time, I felt so loved by their effort and their secret mission. Thank you, SAO. I am blessed to have you with me all these while. Thank you for the engraved Parker pen with Ng Shan Na on it too! Totally speechless.
SAO made us the superstars
my angels :))))
Next, my family and friends as well as housemates. Their presences of the day were more than anything. Of course, the gifts were very much appreciated by me. The most sinful thing I ever did was to have them waiting for me for so long. I am really sorry if I didn’t get to attend you immediately. I am guilty over this.
my family! =)
your presence mean a lot
my housemates! =)
huiru, who's going to leave me soooooon :(
I know, today’s the day that my family felt proud of me, maybe not just today but due to the occasion, they are. =) Shan Na wanna extend my heartfelt thanks to my family who raise me up and pamper me as their daughter. Also, for friends’, coursemates’ & colleagues’ everlasting support and encouragement, the sms’es, the hugs, the handshakes! U guys are awesome! Shan Na is blessed and loved by everyone of you!
With that, I thank you. Loves.

Despicable Me
Don't know where on earth this movie puffed out from, not until I watched the very beginning part of the movie then only it came into realisation that i've watched this Despicable Me trailer for a long long time ago. Haha!
Despicable Me- a very entertaining yet meaningful movie to me. The animation was great! Vividly shown. Me love! :) It is very family-oriented, fatherly love. What's more, a character from a villain to a good father, it's simply marvellous! Of course, cartoon movie is always ended with positive ending which made my day to the max! =D The 3 lil girls below are orphans and the one behind was their father-to-be. Haha!
OOooo. and didn't i mention? :) the secondary characters of the movie- the minions are superbly cute!! =D they are so loyal to their boss. :)) and the ways they speak are really hilarious =D and they're always on the mission to steal significant stuff around the country. Haha!
All in all, it's an educational kinda movie. I rate 9/10 to it! :) It's worth catching it without expectation on it. Me happy!
X-pectation!
Often in life...
I don't dare to place any expectation to myself or others. As in, the level of expectation isn't as high as people think. Well, I can't deny at times, there IS expectation but it's often mild and simple. Guess the core reason of living a life without expectation is simply because I don't like to be struck by disappointment.
However, without expectation, there's will be no room for improvement because you never strive towards the expectation set. Don't you think so? and of course, without expectation, there's always a surprise, eg, just like watching a movie which often make my day! :) i know myself the best. Certain types of expectation can be a form of compliment, eg, expectation from your superiors and friends because they treasure you and they look upon you. With expectation, there's always a risk of being turned down and at times, with expectation, there's always a result! :) There's always pro and con in everything! and sometimes i choose to see it in a brighter side. *really sometimes* because i kinda know that i am not a risk-taker.
So, what say you?? :)
A very random thought of mine which I think has been sinking in my heart sound and sweet. Just that recently it flows back to my consciousness once again. Hmmm. I just gotta learn that we have our own life to live on. :) There's nothing wrong with it. :) I have expectation in certain people and certain things, at times, because i am still a human. =) Don't tell me you don't?

foodie!
A week ago- had dinner with Council Peeps! :) Supposed to celebrate Sek Teng's bday but god knows, he stood us up! *claps* You better watch out, HST! =P
the veggie is Sek Teng and Joey wanna eat him up! Wallop!
Then, it was WOW Food Fair in UCSI University. Supported my housemate's group product of the new invention of red bean tart. :) Overall, the food was superbly pricey. 10 bucks of coupon was very limited in terms of buying those product...
smiley red bean tart! :) brighten my day!
Same week itself, had a dinner retreat at Zanmai Sushi. Bloated stomach with superb Japanese cuisine. Love it! =D Thank you for that 50bucks dinner each and i feel so sinful after the meal =X
a must try unagi pancake! Slurp! :)
Also, couple of days ago, a random decision to hop over to Kopi Boy, a newly opened cafe nearby Leisure Mall. Great ambience. Lovely decoration. Lots of wooden platform and a tiny bit of greenery and with the sound of water (mini fountain). Food's great! Quality time with friend is always the greatest :)
the lil wooden cottage! :)
the F.A.I.T.H.
Days have been eventful this week with lotsa new things learned and new peeps met. Going to church is something new in my weekly agenda. People are asking, "So, are you scared?" Haha! That just sounds hilarious to me, for they are afraid of me feeling uncomfy over its' routine ways of worshipping God. =)
Honestly, I love the teaching. I love to listen to pastors telling their stories/lessons or sharing the scripture. Met a lovely couple happened to be Johorian. ^^ The uncle told me yesterday, human just like to seek for 3 things: peace, hope and love. This is so true! I feel peaceful and hopeful, of course, with friendly people in my life, i am loved. Nothing even more important than to know you too, are being loved by the heavenly God. =) Today's sharing was even more powerful. How can a reverand who worships 3366 gods in his 9 years time chose to change his belief to believe in Jesus? That's just so powerful.

Life
Seriously, we just gotta live a life without any regrets.
Live a life that is sincere to ourselves and others.
Live a life that is precious and memorable.
Live a life which is genuine in anyway you can.
Do not leave any sorry(s) behind each day.
My condolences.

few quotes...
Flipping pages and pages of Facebook today and came across with a few lines which struck me lots. :) Thought of putting them here to share with you guys! :)
"When you encounter thing which is unacceptable, do not blame others or let out your anger. Try to evaluate within ourselves why are we being treated like that." -Paul
"The flaw of being a human, we are all afraid of being rejected." -Nitia
Guess this sentence is quite powerful and truthful. Who love to be rejected? Guess no one does. =) We always play around with the word "reject". Wait until the word reject comes into realisation. Tadaaaa! Everything puffed! =X It may trigger disappointment, worse come to worst it may even cause anger. O_O But i guess it depends on the degree of severity and also the relationship between you and another party? :) Rejection is hard to digest, it needs time to think through. Being assertive is good and bad sometimes. What to do? We are dealing with human, not monkeys :)
"When you encounter thing which is unacceptable, do not blame others or let out your anger. Try to evaluate within ourselves why are we being treated like that." -Paul
Often, I will spend a minute or two to evaluate myself during night time before I call off the day. Hormones are just different at night, it is calm and maybe emotional? Haha! =) And yes, this sentence make me ponder upon it lots. It's from my supervisor cum the counsellor. He always like to make us think. Having a critical thinking is not just merely helping you to solve the challenge in a blink of an eye, more so, it helps us to introspect ourselves inside out. Whether or not this issue solved is another side dish. External attribution is always the best practice among all and finger-pointing is like the main course for us to have in every meal. O_O (i can actually use metaphoric sentence?) hmmm. Right. Anyway!!! I find it difficult, in not to react when things happened. I will panic and start to spout nonsense. This nonsense can be hurtful or without any sense! I need to learn. I really need to pick up some skills of steadiness. :) Listen to the inner voice within. Keep our head and heart cool when the tide is here! :)
Wish everyone have a great week ahead! I actually looking forward to the next weekend though there's nothing gonna happen. o_O Maybe I am just looking forward to the feeling of lazing around. :)

It's US, not you or me :)
Working place is always a perfect avenue to do observation, to see human at your working desk in a stagnant motion (that only applies when you're super sleepy and can't focus on the screen, or else u'll be fired).
Human is forever an interesting object to ponder on. Know why? Hehe! Each of us is simply unique. We talk differently, react in various action, have different thought on the same thing. Isn't it simply wonderful? =) However, it's sad to see human just don't go along well when there're differences or argument. How to strive to be objective and not to frame others? That's really another issue.
After stepping into working life, people will always say company is FULL of politics. Hmmm. I am in a neutral line on this statement for now. Sis comes home with pocketful of her company stories during her attachment period which somehow made me feel that I am much more fortunate for where i am now. :) At the very least, I have colleagues who are sincere and caring. Well, just can't deny the fact that there is issue left unresolved.
Being a leader is never easy and it's never a pleasing job because you might just offend people with a statement made. Well, not just leader, but being a green pea, you might also stir the fire if you make something haired-wire. What matters the most is how we overcome all the challenges and to keep our heads cool over lil things like these. Just like my supervisor said, different leaders have different leadership styles but for what i see, only leader who can maintain task-people performance can survive the longest. :) Attending leadership classes really make me realise, at the end of the day, people is still your greatest support no matter how far we go. So, don't you think we all need each other? Why not treasure and trust people around us rather than maligning? :)
Think people. Don't do something to break the relationship. Remember, we all need each other. No man is an island. :) Call me naive, but I still feel human is purely great, it's the external factor that cause the bomb.

UCSI Group Dinner 2010
Was fortunate enough to be able to attend to the company dinner this year round. "Think Green, Go Green" was the theme of the year. It was a very funny theme for a company dinner to me. Seeing creative staff cracking their brain to think of different style, which turned out to be quite a hilarious one. Well, some did come just with a formal wear which I thought it's perfectly okay. :) Hmmm... i would say part of the limelight goes to SAO. We were in leafy green costume with jeans. Isn't it special too? Over the 24 years, this was the first time I attended dinner in this. Well, looking it in a bigger picture, we all looked good in this, somehow. :)
Backdrop. Quite like it.
Simple and sweet: back to the feeling of 70s' with the agogo styled design.
Nikko Hotel, KL (2/7/2010)- Friday
the waiting area, free flow of drinks and crackers.
i love the design of our dinner poster. :) It looked great at the hotel!
UCSI Group is in the ice block! =X
Attending this year dinner wasn't as relaxing as the past. We prepared a singing cum dancing performance, entitled "Go Green Night". An edited version of Black Eyed Pea's "I Gotta Feeling". It was my first time singing in front of 600++ human being. o_O However, there wasn't a sign of worry when i was out there, holding the mic, coz i think this was solely for entertainment purpose and i wasn't alone but i was slightly blank and worried when we were eating before our performance. Haha! Anyway, I was glad to see president and vice chancellor were enjoying and grooved to our performance. I even saw them sang together! :) God knows, it ended up to be a competition. Hmmm... though the result was out of our expectation, yet, i guess, so long everyone had fun, it doesn't really matter over the result. :) I feel the support from the backstage and I know when kwang and i sang, you people at the back were dancing out all you can. :) That point of time, I felt the teamwork was there. :)
In the ladies.
The ladies were busy preparing ourselves.
Hair. Makeup. and... going to toilet? :)
I love this photo! :) Super like it! =)

Legs- wrapped with newspaper.
Of course, bringing a team of 15-16 wasn't easy. It was formed from scattered pieces to a piece of paper. To me, it was good enough. It is all about the process. The process of learning and accepting each other, to be patient and to move on with what has been decided. More so, it also braced me up a lil, to be confident over any decision made and to encourage my partner (vice versa) to go for it. I was like "Come on, it's only a performance. Don't be so serious about it." but not everyone thought the same way as I did.
Camwhoring after the preparation and before the dinner began.
